What Does Endolift Application Do?

The Endolift application is a non-invasive procedure used to tighten the skin and remove fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure uses fractional laser technology to heat the skin and stimulate new collagen production, which results in firmer, smoother skin.

How Does Endolift Work?

The Endolift application is performed by inserting a small tube beneath the skin. The tube contains lasers that heat up the deep layers of tissue beneath the skin, which will tighten the skin and improve its overall appearance.

What Areas can be Treated with Endolift?

Endolift treatments are designed to tighten loose and sagging skin on the face, neck chest and hands. The treatment can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles on those areas of the body. While Endolift is not a weight-loss treatment, it has been used on patients who have undergone massive weight loss to smooth out excess folds of skin on their bodies.

Pre-Procedure Instructions

You should avoid any medications that may thin your blood prior to the procedure, including aspirin and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or naproxen sodium. Be sure to let your doctor know about any medications you are taking so he can advise you on whether they need to be stopped for at least one week prior to the procedure.

The Endolift procedure is performed in two stages:

The first stage involves inserting a special cannula through minute incisions. The cannula penetrates the adipose tissue and allows an endoscopic camera to be introduced. This camera allows the physician to view images of the area being treated on a monitor. Images are transmitted by means of a series of micro-optics positioned at the tip of the cannula.

The second stage involves insertion of a laser applicator that emits infrared radiation, which acts upon the collagen fibers in the skin, causing them to contract and remodel.

After treatment, patients can leave the clinic after a few hours of observation without any limitations on driving or work activities. The results should be visible between 3 and 6 months after surgery, when recovery from surgery is complete

Is Endolift Painful?

Endolift is virtually painless. Patients who have undergone endolift describe it as a warm sensation or feeling like a hot stone massage on the skin’s surface. The treatment area may feel slightly sore or warm after treatment but these sensations subside quickly.
