Is Valentino Worth The Money?

I am sure that you guys will all already know that I love high-end designer items. I understand that it isn’t for everybody and I completely understand that. There have been times in my life when I have questioned why I go for high-end items because you don’t end up with a lot to show for your money, but it never stopped me from buying it. With my family, I have been brought up around luxury brands and immaculate dressers, so I as I got older, I just found it normal to spend my money on beautiful items. I will admit that I am trying to calm down the spending now that I am an old married woman with my own home, but I still love all things luxury!

I have featured these Valentino Rockstud heels quite a few times here on my blog and whenever I do, I always get so many questions about the heels and buying Valentino in general, so I thought that I would share that with you here on my blog and then you have all of the information in one place. I went ahead and bought these Valentino shoes because I had lusted over them online for such a long time. I just thought that they were the most stunning item and because they were a nude pair of heels, they would be pretty timeless and last me for many years to come.

These shoes when I bought them from the Harrods website were around £700, which I know is an extortionate price for a pair of shoes. The first thing that I noticed when I started to unbox these heels is how simply stunning they really are up-close. The quality and the craftsmanship of them is just unlike any other pair of shoes that I have in my collection, including some of my Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin. From the moment that I laid eyes on them, I knew that they were going to be my new go to heels for most occasions whether it be a business meeting or a nice meal with my husband.

When these were on my feet and I was wearing them, I very quickly noticed that there isn’t anything different to the way that they feel. For nearly £700, I want it to feel like I am walking on clouds, but at the end of the day, it was just like any other pair of heels. I own many pairs of heels from high-end to high-street and once they are on the feet and you are walking around in 3” heels, I think it goes more on the experience of the person wearing them, opposed to the actual ergonomics of the heels themselves. Plus, these shoes are just going to damage like any other heels would, they will scratch, the heels will wear down and in time they are going to look well-loved, just like a pair from the high-street would.

The thing that makes Valentino worth the money in my opinion is the stunning appearance. When people see these shoes, they instantly recognise the brand the it is easy to see from face value that the quality is absolutely stunning. At the end of the day, we buy designer, because we know about the brand, the quality and the stunning appearance. I guess that it is all relative really to what your personal circumstance really and whether you would opt for designer in the beginning, but from a personal point of view, I think that Valentino is worth the money and then some on top because they are simply out of this world.

Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know if you would opt for designer and do you feel guilty when splurging so much money!
