My Favourite Handbags At The Moment

I thought that it was time for another fashion blog post and this one is going to be all about my favourite handbags. As I am sure you guys already know, I am a huge fan of all things handbags and I have been cultivating a little collection of them over the years and I adore them all. But I thought that for this blog post I would narrow down my favourite three and do a blog post all about them. I am sure that you will have already seen me mention most of these before here on my blog, but I have never done a round up like this one before. As I am sure you guys will have already guessed, because this is a post here on my blog, the items that I am going to mention are going to be high-end. Anyway, before I ramble on too much, here are my favourite handbags.

Gucci Marmont Bag
This is one of the latest handbags to be added to my ever-growing collection. I felt like with the bags I had already, I was building a good collection of classics, but I was missing a classic black bag. I had a shop around online for quite a while in an attempt to try and find the perfect black bag and that is where I stumbled upon the Gucci Marmont. I had previously seen this handbag on Instagram and the like and it had never really appealed to me in the leather, but the velvet was speaking my name. This is just the most perfect handbag, it always looks the part, the gold hardware is stunning, and it is just a great all-round handbag. Plus, this is big enough to take with me in the daytime too!

Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis
This is such a lucrative bag and I am so happy to be the proud owner of this stunning item. I can remember first seeing this online around a decade ago and I was obsessed with it. As much as I wanted to buy it, I could never afford something like that all of those years back. The hype around this then seemed to die off a little and then a couple years back the Pochette Metis seemed to have its big revival and it was back on my radar. In order to get this handbag, I literally hounded Louis Vuitton every single day with calls and emails until they caved in and got me a bag. I just think that this is the most stunning item and it really will be a classic piece that sees me through so many years!

Mulberry Medium Lily Bag
This was actually the first Mulberry purchase that I have ever made, and I don’t half love it. I can remember seeing the Lily bag online and I fell in love with it. As much as I wanted this, the idea of spending that kind of money on a bag back then, made me feel quite ill. It wasn’t until I was the chief bridesmaid for my sister that I decided to finally go ahead, take the plunge and buy this stunning handbag. I just think that this Mulberry Lily bag is the most stunning neutral shade and it goes with pretty much everything. I really do wear this to death and it is my go to bag for this time of the year as the weather gets a little warmer and the summer tones start to come out!

I hope that you guys enjoyed this blog post. I know that high-end items really aren’t for everybody and some people feel really strongly about them, but as I am sure you guys have already realised, I really do love them. To me, I am always so proud when I am finally able to go ahead and buy an item that has been on my wishlist for a long time. Like I always say, I never rush into a purchase, especially when it is for such a high value. As normal, I will add a link to these items down below in case you want to check them out for yourself!

  2. I've been eyeing the Marmont bag. It's so beautiful, I wonder how the velvet would hold up over time/use.
