My Favourite Perfume Combination

Today, I wanted to talk about perfume here on my blog. Even though I am completely obsessed with different perfumes, I don’t tend to talk about them here on my blog because it seems like people would rather read about makeup and skincare, but this is something that I really wanted to share with you guys. I have mentioned Jo Malone fragrances a couple of times here on my blog over the years and I am still absolutely obsessed with them. I think that there is just so classic and unique, which is why I never hesitate in buying one of their new fragrances and trying it out for myself. I feel like over the years, I have tried us near enough every single fragrance that they have released, and I think it is safe to say that I have settled on my favourite!

I also feel like I just need to say that I think that the whole Jo Malone experience of going into a Jo Malone stand alone store is absolutely amazing. Every single time I have been to Jo Malone, whether it be to a standalone store, or to a counter the employees have been absolutely out of this world and I have had the best time. They are just so kind and attentive, I know that they are just trying to get my money, but with how kind they are and catering to my every need, they make me want to spend my hard-earned cash with them. Plus, they really know what they are talking about when it comes to each different scent.

I knew when I went into the store to begin with that I wanted something that was a touch lighter than my normal Chanel No5. I wanted something that was floral, without being over the top, but still had a little musk to it. The two perfumes that the lady recommended to me was the Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede and the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt. From the moment that I sampled the two perfumes mixed together, I knew that it was going to become my new go to scent. They just seemed to completely balance each other out it gave me the most wonderful all-round scent.

To begin with, I did get the small 30ml bottles of each of the perfumes because I really wanted to see how they wore on my skin and how they continued to smell as the day went on. I think the two x 30ml bottles seemed to last me for around 3 months or so, which I think is quite good going for a perfume that you are wearing day in and day out. I can quite easily burn my way though 30ml of Chanel No5 in just one month, so it really didn’t concern me how long the perfumes lasted for.

I don’t really want to turn this post into something super long and elaborate because it simply isn’t needed. I just wanted to share with you guys that I have found the most wonderful perfume combination from Jo Malone and I am completely hooked on it. The experience from start to finish was just sheer perfection and they really did nail the kind of scent that I wanted to buy. I love wearing this combination and I have very quickly started wearing it every single day. These last really beautifully on the skin and I have even now gone ahead and bought the full size 100ml versions of both of these perfumes that set me back nearly £200. If you are looking for a new perfume, honestly look no further than Jo Malone!

  5. I should try and mix these when I'm in a store next, as I don't tend to love Wood Sage & Sea Salt, but I get how it would smell great in combination with Peony & Blush Suede!

  18. Yaaaas Jo Malone! There needs to be way more perfume posts. Peony Blush & Suede is such a good cologne, perfect for the spring time I can't wait to start using it again. Red Roses is another favorite of mine for the warmer days. Have you checked out their new collection of the wild flowers and weeds? I picked up the Nettle & Wild Achillea, so good another scent that will be well loved during the Spring.
