My Top 7 Bronzers

We are well overdue another makeup related post and this one is going to be all about my favourite bronzers. I feel like I am constantly uploading makeup reviews ad most of them are different bronzers. I don’t know what it is about bronzers, but they just draw me in and make me want to try them out. I actually have more bronzers than I do foundations which is really saying something for me because my foundation collection is pretty crazy. So, I thought that for today’s blog post, I would round up some of my favourite bronzers from different brands and let you guys know what I genuinely do think are the best of the best!

I just want to write a little disclaimer and let you guys know that most of the bronzers that I am going to mention in this blog post are going to be high end products. If you have visited my blog before, you will know that I absolutely adore high end makeup and it really does work better for me in general, that is why I have so much in my collection. But, I will slip a drugstore product in for good measure just to balance it out a touch. Anyway, without me rambling on anymore, here are my 7 favourite bronzing powders…

The first bronzer that I am going to mention in this post is the Nars Laguna Bronzer. This is something that I have been using now for quite a while and it is one of my all-time favourites. When it comes to the Nars Laguna Bronzer, I feel like I was very late onto the bandwagon. As much as I wanted to try this out after seeing all of the reviews online and hearing that everybody loved it, I just had so many different bronzers in my collection that I couldn’t bring myself to buy another. In the end, after falling in love with Nars foundations, I decided just to go for it and give this a try for myself.

The reason why this is at the top of my list is because it is the perfect bronzer to use on an everyday basis. When I am just running around or going to work, I don’t make a huge effort with my makeup because I just don’t think that it is completely necessary. But, I do like to go in with some of this stunning Nars Laguna Bronzer just to warm up my complexion ever so slightly. I just find that this is the perfect shade to throw on because it looks effortless and light on the skin which is exactly what I want. This is such a beautiful bronzing powder and it is easy to see why so many people love it and why it has become a cult classic product.

I bought this bronzer after seeing it on Casey Holmes’ YouTube channel. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I love Casey and she is pretty much one of the only YouTubers that I watch on a regular basis. When I saw her using this Too Faced Sweet Heart bronzer, I knew that I was going to have to buy this bronzer and try it out for myself. I popped it onto my wish list and decided to wait a while because I was trying out lots of other bronzers at the time. Then, a couple of months later I saw this on the Debenhams website and I purchased it straight away, I have loved it ever since!

The thing about this Too Faced Sweet Heart Bronzer in the Shade Sweet Tea is because it makes my skin look so healthy. In the pan, you get two shades of product, one that is pretty light and the other I would say is the most perfect bronzing shade for my skin. The two together make such a beautiful shade, but because it has shimmer running through it, it makes my skin look so healthy and vibrant. Sometimes when I go in and set my face with a matte powder and I go in with other powders, my skin can look pretty flat, but I find that this Too Faced bronzer just brings it back to life and makes it appear lovely and healthy!

I am sure last year you guys will have heard about the Marc Jacobs bronzers so much. I was desperate to get my hands on the one in the white packaging that was super popular, but it was a limited-edition item and it seems like only beauty YouTubers actually got it in PR, so I settled for the normal version and I have to admit that I am obsessed with it. I didn’t know if I would love this, because I haven’t really tried much by Marc Jacobs Beauty before, but I just figured that surely this bronzer couldn’t really differ that much to the one in the white packaging that everybody seemed to love.

I bought this from Harrods because it was the only place that actually had it in stock here in the UK. It arrived the following day and from then, I was completely in love with it. The main thing with this Marc Jacobs bronzer that I adore and that makes me keep wanting to reach for it time and time again is how smooth and buttery this bronzing powder is. If your swatch this onto the back of your hand, it literally feels as smooth as butter. I love the way that this just glides on and that it is so easy to work with. Not to mention that the pan of product that you get is absolutely huge and lasts for such a long time. I use this all the time and I am still to hit pan!

As promised, this is my drugstore addition to this blog post and I think that it really does deserve a place in this post all about my favourites bronzer. I bought this last year and since I bought it, I have adored how it looks on the skin. I am sure that you guys will have heard about this Milani Baked Bronzer because they are massively popular with bloggers and YouTubers. Since I first bought this bronzer, I have been reaching for it so often and it has quickly become my most used drugstore bronzer in my collection!

The selling point about this Milani Baked Bronzer in my opinion is the fact that it makes your skin look positively glowing. During the warmer summer months, this is the bronzer that I reach for to make me look like I have a natural summer sheen to my skin, rather then been caked up with bronzer. I will even use this to layer over the top of some of my other matte bronzers because it just helps to bring the skin back to life. I think that this bronzing powder cost me around £10, which for a bronzer of this quality is just incredible and that is why I love reaching for it time and time again!

If you guys have followed my blog for some time, you will be well aware that this Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion bronzing powder is one of my all-time favourite makeup products in general.  I feel like these were massively popular in the beauty community a couple of years ago and the buzz around it really made me want to get my hands on it. At the time when I first saw this, it was pretty hard to pick it up here in the UK and you had to order from Sephora if you wanted to try it out. I decided to wait and luckily for me, Debenhams started to stock Makeup Forever so I swiped it from there!

What I adore about this bronzing powder is how lovely it looks on the skin. I feel like the product is the most perfect consistency in the pan and it allows you brush to pick up the ideal amount of product. Then when you start to put this onto he faces, it is easy to see how smooth it looks on the skin. This just seems to completely blur my skin and makeup it looks airbrushed onto the skin. Not to mention that they have more than one shade available in this bronzer, which is what more brands need to start doing when it comes to bronzing powders. I would highly recommend anybody try this bronzing powder out for themselves!

I had to mention this bronzer just because it is such an iconic bronzer. If you are a makeup lover like I am then I am sure that you will have heard of the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in Give Me Sun. Around 5 years ago, this bronzer was absolutely everywhere, and everybody seemed to love it and be talking about it. Just as I was about to buy it, the whole buzz around it seemed to have vanished, so I decided against it and I ordered something else instead. But, curiosity really did get the better of me after a couple of months and I decided just to go ahead and buy it as a present to myself. Let me tell you, since I bought it, I have not looked back because I completely adore how it goes on, looks and feels on the skin.

When I use this MAC Give Me Sun Bronzing Powder, I cannot deny that the shade of the bronzer on my skin is just perfection. It is a deep shade that looks like I am bronzed to the heavens. Don’t get me wrong, it is pretty obvious that I am wearing bronzer, but because of how stunning it looks, it really doesn’t bother me. I have recommended this bronzing powder so many times and I am going to continue to do so because I really do think that it is simply stunning, and more people should try it out because I guarantee that you will fall completely in love with it!

The last bronzer that I am going to mention in this review is one of my favourites and one of my most expensive. There is no denying that I adore Tom Ford beauty products, that much should be obvious from my reviews here on my blog. I know that buying makeup that is this expensive isn’t for everybody and some people don’t agree with me buying it. But, in my opinion, the whole line of Tom Ford cosmetics has more than proved that it deserves to charge a high price for their products, which is why I continue to buy them and talk about them here on my blog.

The main aspect about this bronzer that I adore and the reason why I use it all of the time is because of the stunning shade of it. When you look at this Tom Ford bronzing powder in the pan it does look quite red in tone, which I did find a little intimidating before I started to use it. Little did I know that when I put this on the skin it would look quite as beautiful as it did. This bronzer genuinely does look like you have been sat in the sun for a while and like you have a lovely natural tan. I like to go in very lightly with this on my Tom Ford Bronzing Brush and then I will use my Urban Decay Setting Spray and it melts into the skin and looks so bloody beautiful and natural!

Anyway, that is it for this blog post. As normal, if you want to check out my full review of anything that I have mentioned, just click the name of the item above to be taken to that page. I will also leave a link to all of the items in case you want to check anything out for yourself. Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know what some of your favourite bronzing powders are and I will have to go out and check them out for myself!
