Lilly Lashes in Miami Review

I cannot believe that I am only just getting around to reviewing these Lilly Lashes here on my blog. I was sure that I had already done a post all about these lashes, but looking back through previous posts, it seems like they completely slipped through the net. I review that much makeup, I guess that sometimes one ends up getting away from me, I just cannot believe that it was these Miami lashes because I am sure that you guys will probably already know that these are my holy grail lashes and I wear them all the bloody time. I think whenever I do a GRWM post, it is these lashes that I like to talk about because they are just so bloody stunning!

High-end lashes are something that I used to try and steer well clear of. I just couldn’t personally justify spending £30 on a pair of false eyelashes that were just going to get worn a couple of times and then get thrown in the bin. I couldn’t see how an expensive pair of lashes could be any different to a cheap pair that you could pick up in boots. It wasn’t until I tried out my first pair of high-end lashes out that I realised that there was a big leap in the quality of them and I was left eating my own words. Now, I am completely hooked on high end eyelashes and I have spent more money on Lilly Lashes than I care to even think about!

I don’t want to make this into a long blog post, because at the end of the day it just isn’t very necessary. The reason why I wanted to do this blog post was because these are a really stunning pair of eyelashes and I have really been enjoying wearing them, not to mention that I get a load of compliments every single time I go out with these Lilly Lashes in the style Miami on. These are just a great pair of really fluttery eyelashes, that just seem to really open up the eyes and make them look stunning. In the past, I loved the Mykonos lashes, but for my eyes they just seemed a touch too full and heavy, I feel like Miami has the balance between fluttery and glam!

I will say that whenever I get a new pair of Lilly Lashes, I do have to spend some time cutting them down to shape and making them fit my eyes. I thought I had quite large eyes until I bought my first pair of Lilly Lashes and I had to cut off around a full centimetre off from each lash. I must admit, cutting something as expensive as these eyelashes does kill me a little but inside, but in the end, I think that it is worth it because it makes them much more wearable and comfortable on your eyes. I would just advice cutting small snippets off at a time and slowly get them right for your eyes. It is much easier to cut a little more off than to need to add some back on!

I think the main reason why I love these Lilly Lashes in Miami so much is because they have the balance of glam and simplicity perfect. With these on my eyes, I can still see my eyeshadow on my lid through them, but my lashes are still up to the gods and lovely and thick. I often found that with the Mykonos lashes, they were far too dense and really shadowed my eyes and hidden all of my eyeshadow. Miami just seem to hit every single nail on the head and I adore how they look. Since I bought my first pair of these, I have made sure that I have a back up pair in my drawer at all times!

The reason why I continue to buy these expensive eyelashes is because they are absolutely perfect. You guys should know me by now, I don’t mind paying expensive for products that are worth it and these false eyelashes are absolutely perfect in my opinion. As normal, I will leave a link to these products down below in case you want to check them out for yourself. Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know if you have tried any Lilly Lashes out and let me know what you thought about them!

  1. I've only ever tried wearing false lashes once in my life haha, so I'm definitely reading this review with interest as I plan to wear them more often - especially over the festive season!

  2. I'm actually fascinated by these Lashes! I've never seen anything this luxe before. For them to actually be worth the £30 price tag says it all really because they must be special!

  3. I love these lashes, too. I have the same issue with these when it comes to trimming them, the band is way too long for my eyes, too. They're gorgeous though and last so long!

  6. I'm completely hopeless at applying false lashes! Luckily I have quite full lashes but every now and then it would be nice to throw on a pair for extra glam. These ones look particularly gorgeous.
