My Charlotte Tilbury Collection

I thought that it was about time that I did about all about Charlotte Tilbury and my love for their products. You probably already know if you have read my blog for some time that I adore everything Charlotte Tilbury. Since she first released her makeup line, I have been obsessed with it. Over the years, I have tried out so many beauty brands, but I have never tried one that consistently releases hit after hit, in the same way that Charlotte Tilbury does. Everything new that the CT brand releases, I have to purchase straight away, and I can guarantee before I even buy it that I am going to love everything.
So, I thought because of how much I love the brand, I thought that I do a post dedicated to all of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products. I have so many different products to mention in this post, but I promise that I am going to try and keep it is short as possible, but still give you all of the facts. Everything that I am going to mention are things that I continuously reach for and I feel they work really well for my skin. I feel like Charlotte Tilbury herself really is the best marketing tool that her company has, the way she talks about the products is just so incredible, and I blame that for why I spend so much money on it. Anyway, without any further rambling, here are my favourite Charlotte Tilbury makeup products…

I have wanted this Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream since it was first released. The way that Charlotte Tilbury spoke about this cream, literally made it sound like it could save the world, one swipe at a time. I can remember seeing her use this in a makeup tutorial that she uploaded with the stunning Olivia Culpo and she used this on her skin and within an instant, her skin looked to die for. I have always stayed away from moisturisers, having oily skin around my nose, I thought that by using moisturiser it would make my skin even oilier, I know now that I was very wrong about that. Plus, having only ever used the Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser, there was quite a price jump between that and this Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream!
In the end, I bought it from the House of Fraser website and I really haven’t looked back since. I apply this cream up to three times a day, once in a morning, then when I take my makeup off and again at night before I climb into bed. Since I started to use this, I have noticed such a big change in my skin. Not just I the fact that my skin is now nice and healthy where it used to be a little dry on areas around my forehead, but my discolouration on my cheeks is also less noticeable. This just feels like a really luxurious product when I reach for it and it makes my skin look nice and glowing.

When Charlotte Tilbury decided this as an Instagram filter in a bottle, I knew I had to try it out. I hadn’t really seen much about this online when I first went ahead and bought it, but I am so glad that I just went for it and bought this for myself. I had seen a couple people using this online, and to be honest, through the camera, I couldn’t really see much difference on their skin. It wasn’t until I started using this on myself that I realised why it was so talked about. This really does seem to blur my skin and make me look super perfected before I go in with my foundation.
I have a oily/combination skin and I will admit that this doesn’t really do anything to combat that, but what this does is perfect the skin. I go in with just a small amount of this on my forehead and my cheeks and it gives my skin such a healthy glow that makes my skin look so radiant underneath my foundation. When I did the makeup on the bridesmaids at my sister’s wedding, this is the primer that I sued because it is a universally really great makeup product. I am on my third tube of this stuff since I first bought it, which I just think really speaks volumes about how much I love it.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks
I thought that I would club all of these together because if I went into each of them individually, then we would be here for a very long time indeed. I first wanted to try these lipsticks out because I felt like the only blogger in the world who hadn’t tried one before, so I treat myself to one, then it was a slippery road from there. I now have a collection of them to rival Charlotte Tilbury herself. These are by a country mile, my favourite brand of lipsticks and they are the ones that I reach for more out of anything else in my collection, and trust me when I say that I have a very large collection of lipsticks.
What makes these lipsticks so different to anything else that I have in my collection, is how well they last on my lips. I know that I can pop one of these lipsticks on at 8am and go about my day as well as eating and drinking and these would last so well. The colour selection is just so perfect, there really is something for every kind of look. I primarily have the Matte Revolution and the K.I.S.S.I.N.G collection products and I just find that they work really well for me. I am still to try out some of their liquid lipstick, but I can’t wait to see what they are like!

From the moment that Charlotte Tilbury introduced this onto her Instagram, I knew that I had to have it. I love anything that is contouring related, so I knew that I would love this straight away. From the moment she started showing this online, I knew that it would be so perfect. I even set a reminder on my calendar so that I would remember when this was going live on her website so that I didn’t miss out on it. As soon as it went on the website at 9am, I had already checked out by 9:02am and I even paid through the nose to make sure that I would receive it the next day. And that is where the love affair with this started!
I bought this in the deeper shade of the two and I find that it is so perfect for my skin tone. This is a super creamy product which just glides on the skin so nice and smoothly and it blends out like a dream with my Beauty Blender. I think the only complaint that I have heard about this product is the foam tip where the product comes from, but to me, this really isn’t an issue. I don’t really know what else I can say about this product that I haven’t already said time and time again here on my blog. This is just a lovely and creamy product, it adds lovely dimension to the face and I find myself reaching for it all of the time.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheats
I didn’t know if I wanted to mention these or not, because I really have mentioned them countless times on my blog before. Lip liners are just really a means to an end for me, I don’t really enjoy buying them, but for when I wear lipstick, I like to pair it with a lip liner. These Lip Cheats by Charlotte Tilbury are just out of this world, and I didn’t think that I could ever really get excited about a lip liner. I think anybody who has used one of these, will know that they are unlike any other lip liner that they have used before, and that is why I find myself reaching for them so much.
These are called Lip Cheats not lip liners and I really agree that they do help to cheat the natural shape of your lips. These are a lovely and thick lip liner, which build up the colour around the edges of your lips, which help to disguise the natural shape and size of your lips. I think that the colour range in these is just perfection and I am sure that everybody knows about the shade Pillow Talk, which seems to have completely taken the world by storm. Whenever I buy a new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, I have to buy the matching lip cheat to go with it!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow
How many times have I spoke about this product here on my blog over the past couple of years? I only wanted this product to start with because of the stunning packaging. I didn’t even really think that any of the shades would work for me, and now I am completely obsessed with it. To start with, I didn’t know whether to get the medium or deep palette. I wish I could have taken the highlight shade from the medium palette and the contour shade from the deep palette, to make the perfect little kit for me. In the end, I bought the medium kit and I really love it and reach for it pretty much every single day.
This is a very subtle highlight and contouring, but to me, that is what makes this so perfect. I am not that kind of girl likes full over the top makeup, so this has been in my hand almost constantly. The highlighting shade is just the most perfect champagne colour, which pretty much never looks too intense. The contouring shade is just the right shade of ashiness and depth to make a really nice contouring shade for my tanned skin. I am even on my second palette, which for a makeup palette like this is quite an accomplishment. If you haven’t tried this out before, I would highly recommend treating yourself to it!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Cream
This was part of Charlotte Tilbury’s limited-edition collection a couple of years ago and I had to get my hands on it. I really wanted it as soon as it was released, but I wasn’t quick enough. So, in the end I was going to buy it from eBay, but luckily, she had a big restock on her website and I managed to get my hands on one. I know that I shouldn’t keep makeup for as long as I have done this stunning palette, but it is still going strong, doesn’t break me out and I love it so much. I wish that she would make this a permanent line in her collection because I am in love with it.
I would say that the deeper shade of the two in this palette is more like a bronzing shade than it is an actual contour. I like to rub my damp Beauty Blender ever so slightly into the shade and then just dab that around the perimeter of my face, in the usual bronzing kind of areas. Then the highlighting shade just adds the most natural glow to the face, which I completely adore. Like I said, I am not really a fan of over the top highlighter, so I think this is just so stunning. The only thing that I have found to be similar to this is the Benefit Watts Up Highlighter, but I have to say that I much prefer this CT one. I don’t know what I am going to do when I finally run out of this product!

I know that you guys have heard me mention this Charlotte Tilbury Sex on Fire blush time and time again. I have always made it quite clear that I am not really a fan of blushes, I am more of a bronzer kind of girl.  But saying that, I cannot deny that when I add blusher, it seems to really open up my face and look my makeup look much fresher, which is why I wanted to invest in a Charlotte Tilbury blusher. And I will say that it is an investment because this thing is £35, which is more than I have ever paid for a blusher before, but this is so stunning, and I reach for it pretty much every single day!
This is quite a deep shade of pink, but I think that it is the perfect shade for my tanned skin tone. I love reaching for this because I feel like it really pulls my makeup look together. I think what you are meant to do with this blusher is the swish and pop technique, so take the lighter shade from the edge in a broader area, with just a pop of colour from the centre onto the apples of your cheeks. To be honest, I just use all of it and apply it how I usually would blusher and I still love the effect. I guess that good thing about this blusher for the price is that you are essentially getting two shades for the price of one.

I first saw Charlotte Tilbury using this in a YouTube tutorial with Pixiwoo and as soon as the video stopped playing, I had to log onto her website and treat myself to this. She said that this was a brow gel, that not only set the brow hairs into place, but it also adds fibres to the hairs, which makes them look naturally fuller, every single part of that appealed to me straight away. I think I paid around £17 for this at the time, which I think is really good value for money for a high-end brow gel and it is similar in price to the Anastasia Brow Gel, which has been a favourite of mine for a very long time.
I reach for this eyebrow gel all of the time because it really does do what she claimed. I have this in the shade Cara, which is a lovely deep brown shade. This is the perfect product I find, for the days where I don’t want to wear too much makeup, but I still want my eyebrows to look nice, defined and natural. For the price of this I really don’t think that you can go wrong. The only thing that I would say about this product is that the bristles from the wand have flattened from me wiping off the excess product as I bring it out of the tube, but other than that, I love it.

The last thing that I want to talk about was one of my most recent makeup purchases from Charlotte Tilbury. When this was first being released, she kept on putting up teasers of this on her Instagram and it was driving me crazy. I think to be honest it was just the packaging that I loved, it is essentially just a scaled-up version of the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette. But, when I finally saw the shades, I knew that it was going to be for me. Little did I know at the time when I fell in love with it, that it was a £60 eyeshadow palette, which is pretty expensive for a palette of this size.
I do have to say that once I received this and started playing around with it, I completely fell for it. The 4 sets of colour combinations are just to die for. I don’t usually stick to the ‘day eye’, ‘date eye’, ‘desk eye’ and ‘night eye’, but for a beginner, I think that is a great little feature about this palette. The quality of the shadows is really nice, but not in the same realms of the shadow quality such as Natasha Denona or something like that. Plus, you can get a palette with the same number of shadows from Urban Decay or Anastasia for a much lower price. But, I cannot deny that this is a truly stunning eyeshadow palette.

I thought that I would leave this product until last because it really is one of my favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury. I am completely in love with this and it is a product that I use every single day. This for me is the perfect powder to carry with me in my handbag. Because I have an oily complexion, I have to carry a face powder when I am out and about or I can end up looking like an oil slick. Throughout the day, I will just go in with a small amount of this on my Morphe E48 and my face is matte and looking just as it did when I first put my makeup on in a morning.

I cannot say that I would powder my whole face with this because for me, I like to set using a translucent powder, but this has quickly taken the place of being my number one go to powder. I am sure that some of you will know that over the years I have used the Chanel Vitalumier Powder, but I can honestly say that this one does the job far much better. I have had the same compact of this for around a year and it is still going strong and I am still to hit pan on it, so I can see this lasting me a very long time indeed. If you haven't tried this out, I would highly recommend giving it a go!

Anyway, there you have it, my favourite Charlotte Tilbury makeup products. If you are still with me after all of that then I really applaud you. As normal with all of my blog posts, I will leave links to everything that I have mentioned down below in case you want to check them out. 2. There are so many products you've mentioned that I must get ASAP! And truthfully, I guess I could just say I need everything because you pretty much own all of their best products hehe. While some are all for the bronzy, sun-kissed looks, I'm much more of a blush girl and I enjoy looking flushed, yet natural and I think these blushes will be perfect. I have also been wanting to try cream bronzers/contours for a while and I think Charlotte Tilbury is the perfect place to start! Would you recommend starting with her cream contour palette or stick/wand? Thanks so much Danielle xx
