My Most Repurchased Makeup Products

I have made no secret over the past couple of years that I am obsessed with makeup, I always have been, and I think from my blog that is pretty obvious. That being said, I actually think I’m calming down with how much money I am spending no makeup. I have been trying to curb my spending habits because I have so much on this year and to be honest, at the moment I just think there are so many other things that I would much rather spend my hard-earned cash on. But, I still have products in my makeup collection that I am obsessed with and I continuously have to repurchase when I am running low, so I thought that I would share that with you for today’s blog post.

When I find products that work for me, I continue to use them. If I fall in love with a foundation, just because I try out another that I really like, doesn’t meant that I will stop using another. I have a few items that really have become holy grail items in my collection and I always love how my makeup looks when I reach for them. I am sure that I have shared them with you so many times before, but to me, these products really deserve so much attention because they make my skin look so incredible when I reach for them. Anyway, without any more rambling, here are my most repurchased makeup products…

I have been using this primer for years now and I am still just as obsessed with it as I was years ago. When I first bought this Benefit Porefessional Primer, I wasn’t really a fan of primers. I had never used one before that had really made a difference to my skin, until I tried this one out. Since trying out this Benefit Primer and loving it, I have tried out other matte and pore perfecting primers, but I feel like nothing really compares to this one, which is why I always go back to my trusty Porefessional. I literally try and push this primer onto everybody.

I don’t take this primer all over because I just don’t feel the need for it all over my skin, but I do concentrate it just in the area around my nose.  I take a small pea sized amount and rub it in between my finger tips and then pat it into the area around my nose and then whatever is left on my fingers I will put it onto my chin. These are the areas where I get oily and where my pores are most visible, so this primer just gets to work and makes my skin look so much smoother. I do still have to blot my skin lightly throughout the day, even with this primer, but it does help to control my oils, much more than other similar products.

I know that everybody is probably really sick of me mentioning this foundation here on my blog, but I am still so in love with it. I will keep this one as short and sweet as possible because I am sure you guys know the ins and outs of this one, but I just need everybody to know that I love it. Before I bought this, I really didn’t think that it was going to work for me. Usually foundations and other products with the term glow in the title, are normally a nightmare for my oily skin, but not this one. This Nars Sheer Glow foundation makes my skin look unlike any other foundation has ever made my skin look before.

I have the shade Syracuse in this foundation and it is honestly the best shade match that I have ever used. This just glides on the skin so beautifully and smooth. I always apply this using my Morphe M439 and it looks so flawless on the skin. It is a lovely, medium coverage foundation, but by simply patting my brush on the skin I can build up the coverage to be fuller. The other thing that I love about this foundation is how well it lasts on my skin all day long. This has incredibly staying power and the longer I have it on, the prettier that I think it looks when it gels into my powder and other products. I know I say this all of the time, but if you haven’t tried this before I would highly recommend it.

I have been rambling on about this translucent powder for years and I am still in love with it. I first tried this powder absolute donkey’s years ago because of Wayne Goss over on YouTube, which was long before it seemed to blow up and everybody and their mothers started to use it. For an oily skin gal, this is the perfect powder. What I love about this is that it mattifies my face, but it is also nice and comfortable on the skin. I never have creasing with this RCMA NoColour Powder and it locks everything perfectly in place. I don’t even want to think about how many of these I have gone through over the years!

One of the most amazing things about this RCMA No Colour Powder is the sheer amount of product that you get with this. I know I have mentioned it time and time again, but you just get so much product. In one pot of this, you get nearly 100g of product, which is three times more than you get in the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, and it is one third of the price of the Laura Mercier. I own so many translucent powders, but this is the one that I reach for on a daily basis, because it sets my face to perfection, and I don’t feel guilty about going in heavy with it because of the reasonable price tag.

I feel like every single beauty blogger has tried or at least heard of this mascara. I feel like pretty much every blogger has this in their photos and mentions it all of the time. The only reason why I bought this was because I saw it in countless flat lay images and I thought it was the most perfect prop, not to mention cheap too. The fact that I liked to use the mascara was just a massive bonus on top of that. I have been using this for around 2 years now and it is still by far the best drugstore mascara that I have in my collection. I know that I have mentioned this so many times, but it is still well worth it.

The first thing that I love about this mascara is how it holds a curl so well. I always go in with my lash curler to start with and then straight in with my mascara and it just seems to lift them so high and lock them into place. The curved wand seems to wrap around my lashes and coat every eyelash hair really nice and evenly. This isn’t a waterproof mascara, but I find that it has amazing lasting powder, never smudges and I have been out in the rain in this mascara and even had a cry and I never find it to run or budge. Such a great mascara at such a low price, perfect for everyday use.

You guys should definitely know by now about my love for the Chanel No5 perfume. I actually think my Chanel No5 review was one of the first posts that I ever put up on my blog. I have been obsessed with this fragrance since I was a little girl, and my obsession is still going strong. I cringe when I think about how much money I have spent on this over the years, at £100 every couple of months, it is a very expensive perfume to be in love with. I really fell in love with this perfume when I was a little girl and my mum would wear it and I always thought that it smelt so luxurious.

I can remember when I was younger I doused myself in this stuff because I loved it so much, only to be screamed at by my mum who was furious that I had wasted all of her pricey perfume, I didn’t care though, I smelt amazing for around a month. After that I used to beg my mum and dad to buy me this for every birthday and Christmas, so I had a little stock of it. I have worn this pretty much every single day for £10 years and this is a really classic Danielle perfume now. Not to mention that if Marilyn Monroe wore and loved this perfume, then so do I!

I have made no secret about how much I love this concealer over the past couple of years. For a while now I have been in a bit of a fix between this and the Tarte Shape Tape concealer, but in terms of repurchasing, I definitely go through these hell of a lot quicker than I do the Tarte Shape Tape. What I love about this concealer is how lovely and lightweight it is on the skin. I would say that this is a medium coverage and when it is blended out using a damp Beauty Blender it really is a great product that looks stunning. I use the shade Light Warm in this and I find that it does an amazing job at brightening my skin underneath my eyes.

One of the most incredible things about this concealer that keeps me buying it over and over again is the wand. I know that is a pretty strange thing to say because obviously an important factor is the product itself, but if you have tried this out, you will know what I mean by the wand. Then wand on this is much flatter than your normal doe-foot applicator that you get on concealers and it is flexible and it moves to the contours of your face, which makes it much more comfortable when you are applying this. I use this pretty much every day when I am going to work, when I want my makeup to look nice, but not too intense.

Not onto the final item that I’m going to mention in this post. I really just wanted to try and keep this post to just one foundation, because we all know that I could ramble on forever and a day about foundations, but I feel like I need to mention this beauty by Giorgio Armani. I first tried this so many years ago, I even had it before the whole hype around Kim Kardashian using it. Then, once Kim’s makeup artist said that he used this on her, I couldn’t get my hands on the bloody stuff. It wasn’t until quite a while later that I went back out and bought some of this and decided to give it another go.

There really isn’t a single thing that I don’t love about this product. Firstly, the finish that it gives is just so stunning. It is a luminous kind of foundation, but it has the balance just perfect and still sits beautifully on my oily skin. The coverage is medium to full, but it can be both sheered out by using a damp Beauty Blender or a more intense coverage using a buffing brush. This lasts really well on the skin, all day long and I love the way my makeup looks when I use this. I have even persuaded my sister into wearing this foundation on her wedding day in a couple of weeks, because she cannot deny how stunning this looks on her skin.

There you have it, my most repurchased makeup favourites. These are the items that I reach for pretty much on a daily basis for my everyday makeup look. I feel like all of them work really well for my skin and they look really nice all-day long. As normal with all of my blog posts, I will leave a link down below to all of the items mentioned. Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know what some of your most repurchased makeup products are!

  7. I've repurchased the Urban decay naked Skin concealer multiple times, before I ventured into the world of cream concealers. It used to be one of my favourites, but it was so hard to get my hands on it sometimes, as my shade was always sold out!

When I've gone through all the pot concealers I have open right now, I'm sure I'll end up buying this one again. Now that the hype around it has died down at last, I'm sure it will be much easier to get hold of my shade ;-)

Also, I didn't know the RCMA powder was available on beautybay! I must add it to my basket when I order from them next!

  8. I'm the same with the porefessional, I only use it on areas like my nose and chin and it does a great job. I've been through so many tubes of it now I've lost count!
