My Plan This Christmas!

I literally had no idea what I wanted to write about today. At the moment it is 7am and I am sat at my desk with my coffee in one hand, my MacBook in front of me and my bacon sandwich on the other side. I have been staring at my laptop for the longest time, but nothing seems to be coming naturally and I have no idea what to write about. I did have some ideas jotted down, but as I started writing them and reading them back, they all sounded so rubbish and a little forced, so I have decided just to scrap that and update you guys on what I have planned for the Christmas period and what I will be up to over the next couple of weeks.
The first thing and probably the most exciting thing that I have to mention is that today is my last day at work for nearly 3 weeks. I saved some holiday days and I have popped them in for next week so that I get an extra week off. I don’t think that I have ever been off work for this long and I am so bloody excited. As much as I really do love my job, I also love having time off and I cannot wait to just sit around and do a fat load of nothing all day long, for nearly 3 weeks. Well, I say that I will be doing nothing, but I know that in actual fact I will probably end up working on my blog, but at least I can do that in bed and wearing my pyjamas!

Other than that, I still have quite a bit to do for Christmas day. I have most presents, but I still have to go out and get gift wrapping, cards and all of that goodness. I am going to order it online though because I refuse to go to a shopping centre at this time of year. I work near a shopping centre and it just irritates me seeing people queuing for parking, don’t people know about the internet?!
Then I am just going to be spending as much time as possible with my nan. I think it is finally starting to sink in with her that my grandad isn’t coming back, so I can see Christmas been hard for her. Even if I take my MacBook with me and I sit and work while I am there, I just want to be around here. I have turned down so many nights out with my friends this Christmas, because my family and specifically my nan is my priority and there is no place that I would rather be. I can see us sitting together, drinking too much and taking all night long for most of Christmas!
I know that I want to dedicate some time to planning for my blog. I want to at least put into place a 6-month plan for my blog, so I can see what kind of direction I am wanting to take and a rough guide as to what posts I want to make. Not to mention that I am a sucker for organisation and doing this will be like a little Christmas present to myself. Other than that, most of my blog posts are lined up and ready to go for the rest of December and January, so I can sit back and relax.
For the rest of my time off, I am just going to be a really lazy sod. I have my Apple TV box ready to go with all of my movies and TV programmes that I am planning on powering through. I even think I will be a really big nerd and play on the Sims, because it is the only thing that stops me from working and really makes me zone out. Then, I am just going to see my friends when I can and overindulge in everything and feel like a big fat pig by the time the new year’s rolls by!

Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know what your plans are for the rest of December!
