My Favourite YouTubers

I feel like over the years there has been such a shift in YouTube. I have been watching beauty YouTube videos since as long as I can remember. I used to race home from school, watch everybody in my subscriptions and then me and my friends would text each other all night long talking about it. I guess as I have got older, so have the YouTubers that I used to watch and things just seem different.
I did a post last year letting you know who my favourite YouTubers were and even since then there has been a massive change. So, I thought it was about time that I updated you on who my favourites were in case you are looking for some new people to brighten up your YouTube homepage!

1)       Casey Holmes
I feel like me and Casey could have been lifelong friends if there wasn’t a huge ocean separating us. We just have so many things that are similar to each other, from makeup, to music, cars and so much more. I honestly feel like we could have been separated at birth. I love this girl so much right down to her country twang in her voice. Her tutorials are so good and are perfect for oily skin so every product that she uses and loves, I obviously have to go out and buy! Plus, her, Davis and the dogs are just so precious and I cannot wait to see more from them on her channel and in her vlogs!

2)       Jaclyn Hill
I can remember being one of Jaclyn’s early days’ subscribers. When she would film videos in front of her refrigerator of her apartment when she was working for MAC. I loved her to say the least. I would go out of my way to watch all of her videos, and I still do really. Just to see how far she has come from the early days makes me feel so proud of her and to know that I helped her get to where she is today makes me really happy. I love all of the looks that she does and her love of fashion and wine rings true to me!

3)       Holly Boon
My love for Holly I don’t think will ever falter. She is bomb at makeup and there is no denying that. She also is just so real. I will click onto YouTube or Snapchat and she will just be ranting and dropping the f-bomb every other word and it is just so true. I always kick off and rant and I can see so much of myself in her. I can’t say that I ever try to recreate her makeup looks because they are far too advanced for me, but I could watch her for hours on end!

4)       Lydia Elise Millen
I first started watching Lydia’s channel when she only had a couple thousand subscribers. I soon became obsessed with her fitness, her connection that she has with beauty brands and her taste in fashion. I think she became one of my ride or die YouTubers when she went out and bought about 4 pairs of Manolo Blahniks, I did the same the week before so I felt like we were meant to be. I can’t wait to see more by Lydia because her content is constantly improving and I also can’t wait to nosey more at her wedding plans!

5)       Iam CHOUQUETTE
I feel like this YouTube channel is very similar to Lydia’s, they are very similar. They are both actually friends in real life which I guess is why their content is so similar. The first thing that drew me to this channel was her hunt for Hermes bag. I have been there myself and was disheartened each and every time it didn’t happen. I soon become a subscriber of hers and I have loved watching her ever since. She just seems so similar to me and my tastes and my fashion sense so I am in love with her!

6)       Chloe Morello
Chloe is just a sassy bitch and that is why I like her. She is 20 something and just has a laugh on her channel and I think that is what life should be about. So many people take themselves far too seriously these days and her channel just makes me laugh. It is still beauty related where she does reviews and looks but she also has some different content in there to break it all up a little. Not to mention that her fiancé is hot and he makes cameos in quite a lot of her videos.

7)       Desi Perkins
I have been a subscriber of Desi for years now. Her makeup tutorials are incredible, not to mention that she is drop dead gorgeous. When she is creating a look, she won’t just rush through it, she will go through each stage and really explain it to the camera. It just makes it so much more personal and as though she is talking you through it personally. She also just seems like such a genuine and nice person and that is the kind of person that I want to spend my spare time watching.

8)       Jackie Aina
Jackie is somebody that I have only just really started watching. What I love about this woman is how informative she is about makeup for women of colour. Obviously, some of what she talks about doesn’t apply to me. But her passion for helping women find what is right for them is amazing. Plus, I love the way she calls out certain products and brands that are just shit for women of colour. We are in 2017 now, brands should know what they are doing and have a wide variety of shades for every skin colour, undertone and type and that is what Jackie Aina is all about.
There you have it. There have been some massive changes over the past year in terms of who I am still watching. But I think the people that I used to watch have changed and I guess I have grown up too and just grown out of some people. I would highly recommend checking these people out though because I am obsessed with them. As soon as I see that they’ve uploaded a video I will hop on my iPad and watch them!
Leave me a comment down below and let me know who you love to watch on YouTube and you can be sure that I will check them out!
