Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses Review

For anybody who knows me or follows me on Instagram or Tumblr, you will know by now that I am the biggest sunglasses hoarder.  I think it is just because I love to leave the house without makeup on so big sunglasses hide a multitude of sins!

I can remember been a young girl, probably not much older than 5 and my step mum of the time had just discovered eBay. She started buying all kinds of designer things on it, one of them being sunglasses. Whenever she got any delivered she would strut around in them and probably wear them for a week or two and then get some more. So, when they got tossed to the side, I would sneak in and snaffle them. Not that she ever noticed that they had gone!

I think that this was the starting point of my issues with continuously buying sunglasses myself. My latest sunglass obsession is with classic Ray-Bans. Ray-Bans have always been around and always will be. I can remember been sat with my mum looking at old images and in everyone she had a pair of Ray-Ban club masters on and even to this day she still wears the same pair and they look incredible.

So, I bought myself a pair of classic Ray-Ban aviators. I got the gold frames with the green/black lenses. These are the classics which will always be in fashion. They look great with all outfits just look so chic. I can remember seeing Carrie Bradshaw wearing a pair of these in the HBO series way back in the day. She had on a small grey marl mini dress and aviators and she looked incredible.

If you are looking to invest in a pair of sunglasses that will always be in fashion these are definitely the sunglasses to buy!

  1. I bought a pair of these for myself just before my birthday! I love them too! Wayfarers are next on my list!
