I feel like when it comes to buying new products I have really been
letting myself down recently. I tried to be a big girl and save money and stop
wasting it on makeup, clothes, shoes and handbags all the time. But I have been
doing that for too long now and I have had a huge blow out and been and bought
loads of makeup.
It is so strange how happy it makes me buying makeup. I do sit and
think, ‘did I really need that’, but then I just think, yes, yes I do!
So, without any further rambling so that I don’t bore you all too much,
I will just jump into this huge makeup haul.
1)
MAC
Eyeshadows in Bronze, Knight Divine & Naked Lunch
I am in the process of making my own MAC pro eyeshadow palettes. As you
may know I have OCD, so I cannot have loads of single eyeshadows and I also
can’t own an abundance of different palettes, this way I just get the colours
that I really want and know I am going to use. I got these 3 shades randomly. I
just went into my local MAC store and picked these three out. I can’t wait to
have a play with them and see what looks I can create with them!
2) Urban Decay Naked
Weightless Concealer
You have probably seen this on my blog before in some of my most recent
posts. I am in love with this concealer, and it is included in this blog post
because I have had to repurchase another one already. It is creamy blendable
and the wand that you apply it with is just perfect. I honestly think this is
my holy grail foundation and at the minute I can’t image that another one is
going to take its place any time soon!
3) Chanel Coco Noir Perfume
I have wanted this perfume for the longest time and I am so glad that I
have finally got my hands on it. First the packaging is bomb and looks amazing
sat on my perfume shelf. The other thing I love about this perfume is how much
it smells like my other favourite my Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It is so
lovely and I can actually smell this on me all day, which is one of the things
I hate when the smell fades really quickly.
4) MAC Lipsticks in Twig
& Stone
I haven’t bought a MAC lipstick in the longest time so I thought it was
about time that I treat myself to some. I wanted some shades that I wouldn’t
really go for so I gout Twig and Stone. Twig is a pinky/purple shade that is
quite deep, great for winter. Then stone is a deep brown, the undertone of it
is quite cool, so it doesn’t have any warmth to it. I think for the Stone
lipstick I am going to get the matching lip liner just to make it look perfect
because with such deep shades it is easy for it to look messy!
5) Makeup Forever HD
Foundation Stick
I wanted a foundation that is lighter than my others in coverage but
still makes the skin look good. After reading a lot of reviews I settled on
this foundation and so far, I have been using it to death. I love this stuff.
It glides on like a dream and blends out so nice when I use my Morphe M439
brush. On areas where I like a little more coverage I will just add a little
more and it looks lovely. It just perfects the skin but still makes it look
like skin and not a mask.
6) Cover FX Custom Cover
Drops
I got these drops to help rectify the colour of some of the foundations
that I buy. Because I buy so much online it can be hard to get the shade spot
on and I always tend to get a touch too light than what I should. So I got
these drops in a deeper shade to make my foundation more than to match my body.
Loving these so far!
7) Makeup Forever Step 1
Primer
I cannot wait to trial this primer. The one that I got is the mattifying
primer to try and control the oil around my nose. I have used it before and
didn’t really notice a huge difference, but I did have a really busy day that
day so my oils did come through when I was rushing around. A full review will
come up on this soon when I use it for just a normal day at the office.
8) Charlotte Tilbury
Lipstick in Super Cindy
I wanted this lipstick purely for the name. Anything Cindy Crawford
related has my name wrote all over it. I did expect this to be a deeper shade,
to mimic that classic 90’s style shade that she has always worn but I am still
loving it. The good thing about this lipstick is that it is a matte finish, but
it is really comfortable to wear on the lips.
9) Anastasia Brow Wiz
I always thought that this wouldn’t be for me because I have used powder
for my brows for the longest time, but this is a winner for me. I have very
natural full and thick brows, but I do have some sparse areas that need filling
in. I love this because it takes two minutes and they are done and it is so
handy for travelling with because you get the product and a spooly in one!
10) Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick
Now this product has changed my cream contouring game. I always cream
contour as you may know by now. My go to for a long time has been the MAC Full
Coverage Foundation and then I blend it out. But this is so much better. It is
easy to use because it is in stick form and it is so creamy and blendable, it
is a dream to use!
I hope that you enjoyed this blog post. I will be doing more hauls soon,
so be sure to keep an eye on my blog to see those. As normal please leave a
comment below and let me know what you think and if you have tried any of these
things out!
So many products I'm dying to try. The Naked Concealer and ABH Brow Pencil are amazing, high praises to both of them!

Ooh gorgeous haul, can't wait for a review of the MUFE HD Stick, have always been so tempted to buy it! I bought the UD concealer for my Mum this Christmas, it is really really good xxx
ReplyDeleteALittleKiran | Bloglovin
So far so good with the MUFE HD stick, I have been loving it recently!

I love the Urban Decay concealer as it doesn't crease under my eyes. Always wanted to try Make Up Forever as I've heard great things but I think it's only available online? The primer sounds great, like you I suffer with oil control so will look out for your upcoming blog post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing & Merry Christmas 🎄
