Chanel Coco Noir Perfume Review

As much as I love the idea about speaking about fragrance here on my blog, I always struggle on reviewing perfume and scents. I am just not very articulate when it comes to describing something that I can’t show you guys through images. I have wanted to try this Chanel Coco Noir perfume for the longest time and I am so glad that I just bit the bullet and finally got around to buying it. If you have visited my blog before, you will already know that I am a huge fan of Chanel fragrances and I go through No5 like it is going out of fashion. I have now been using it for months and I am ready to share my review with you guys!

I think the main thing that attracted me to this Chanel Noir perfume is the packaging. It is more or less exactly the same as the Chanel No5 packing, but in black. Straight away that is a winner to me, because anything that is black and sleek has my name all over it. I know you shouldn’t just buy something because of the packaging, especially when it costs as much as this perfume does, but I have to say that it looks so good sat up on my shelf with the rest of my high-end perfumes!

The thing that did initially put me off this Chanel No5 perfume was simply the price. I know that I love Chanel perfumes, so I wasn’t unsure about the product inside, because I had sampled it and I loved it, I just couldn’t really bring myself to splash £75 on a perfume. I go through a large bottle of Chanel No 5 near enough every other month, which sets me back around £100 a time, so I was sceptical about splashing that much money on yet another fragrance for my ever-growing collection. But, I sampled this so many times and each and every time, I adored it, so I knew that it was about time that I picked this up and tried it for myself.

Anyway, I am really glad that I did decide to go ahead and buy this perfume because I have fallen head over heels for this scent. It has become my new everyday go to fragrance. I would even say that this has bumped my Chanel No5 off the top spot, for the time being at least anyway. I don’t know what it is but there is just something about this Chanel Coco Noir Perfume that has me hooked and I cannot seem to put it down. Maybe it is the whole vibe of the perfume, it is a deep and sexy scent, in a sleek bottle and it just makes me feel strong and powerful whenever I reach it.

To me, the smell of this Coco Noir is very similar to the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It is really deep and musky with undertones of berries. I have been loving this perfume recently because I just think that it is perfect for the winter time and I know that it is going to be my go to perfume for over the Christmas period. If anybody is looking for a new winter scent, then I can highly recommend this Chanel Coco Noir Perfume because it is to die for. I think this will really divide people because I feel like it could be too deep for some people, so I would recommend people go into a store, try this out, give it a spritz and see how you feel with it on your skin.

I wish that I could talk to you more about this perfume, but I feel like I have run out of adjectives in my arsenal. I reach for this every single day because it is a wonderful deep scent, that is very beautiful and rich, and I can smell this on myself all day long and I absolutely love it. I will leave a link to this perfume down below in case you want to check it out for yourself. Make sure to leave me a comment and let me know if you have tried this perfume and if not, what is your favourite winter scent?
