Shouldn't We Be Supporting Each Other?

I wanted to write this short post about all of the negativity that I have been seeing all over the internet recently. And it just made me think… Shouldn’t we be supporting each other.

I have always been zero tolerance to bullies and I will not stand for it on my blog or on anybody else’s for that matter. I will read through the comments on my own blog and on bigger and more popular ones and there are some utter bitches out there. I’m not saying that everybody is because most of you guys are so lovely. But for every 10 lovely people there is 1 bastard.

And I know that I am using strong language but sometimes guys I think that it really is needed!

I have been brought up and been taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say it. I will definitely compliment somebody if there is something that I agree with or like but if I don’t I will just click off it, rather than going to the comments and comment something bitchy.

I just think that as women we should support each other and help each other from time to time. We should be able to turn to each other if we need it rather than be wary at what people are going to say. Which is why on my blog I write posts trying to help people out. I will upload a post on how to get more visitors, get your posts up the rankings, create flay lays and so on. I do this because I want you guys starting out with your blogs to have a helping hand. I work in marketing as a part of my full time job, not just my blog so I know what I am on about and I just want to help.

When I have set my posts live that are trying to help people out I have had people reaching out to me complaining about them. Because they have a post similar on their blog, but they charge people for the information, and they wasn’t happy about mine because with me they can get the information for free!
I just think that we are all different and that is why the people that read out blogs like us. If we were all the same with the same opinions and we all uploaded the same onto our websites then the internet would be a very boring place!

I don’t really want to ramble anymore because it will turn into a full blown rant, I just want to say that instead of pulling people down, how about do something positive with your time. I am just sick of bitchiness and I feel like I needed to say something about it.

  1. I agree there is a lot of negativity in the blogging community and it's mostly the reason why I stay off Twitter 80% of the time. It's a shame women try to tear each other down instead of building each other up x
