July Favourites

So here we are at another monthly favourites blog post. I feel that these seem to come around so quickly, it only seems like two minutes since I was uploading my June favourites. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who thinks this year is absolutely flying by. These last few months especially have all just seemed to blur into one because they have come and go so quick!

In July I haven’t actually bought as many new products as normal. I do include some new products in this post but a lot are favourites from other months and rediscovered things that I have pulled out from the back of my drawers. Let’s get into this…

Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer – SX12

I have wanted to try these out for so long and I bit the bullet this month and bought one to try out. I could never justify spending nearly £40 on something that was so small. I can 100% justify spending that on this product now because it really is amazing. The quality is so high and this is so pigmented and creamy. I can use this as a foundation or to conceal and it looks perfect. I have never tried anything that is so full coverage. It really is an amazing product. I am even looking at getting one in a lighter shade to highlight with!

Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation

I don’t know how many favourites posts I have mentioned this in but I just can’t stop using it. No foundation gives me a more flawless finish then this does. It is a very full coverage foundation but it can give a sheerer finish when a small amount is applied. It is pricey but well worth it!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

This is another one that has been mentioned so many times. This is creamy, full coverage and really nice and blendable. I use this to brighten my face. I put it under my eyes, chin and forehead and it brightens the whole area and helps me to look fresh and awake. I highly recommend it and for like £5 you can’t go wrong!

LA Girl Pro Conceal – Contour

I have been using this concealer for contouring for so long. It is just so handy and convenient. This is like the only contouring product that I took on holiday. I have even had to buy another which shows how much I love it because I very rarely run out of something. It is the perfect mix of depth and tan. It has such a pretty finish to it and I reach for it every day!

RCMA No Colour Powder

This has been in my favourites for such a long time. I cannot go without it now, I am onto my third bottle of it and I cannot see anything taking its place. It is super cheap, incredibly high quality and you get such a large amount in comparison to other face setting powders. This has overtaken the Laura Mercier powder in my opinion, I absolutely love it and I want people to jump on the bandwagon with me.

MAC Eyeshadows – Woodwinked/All That Glitters/Cork

This favourite is actually three things but I thought I would club them all together. I am in the process of creating my own MAC pallets. These are the 3 colours that I have used near enough every day this month. I use either Woodwinked or All That Glitters all over the eyelid. Then I use Cork in the crease and under the lower lash line. They are just the perfect combinations!

Anastasia Brow Pomade – Chocolate

This is my final favourite for this month. I have owned this for so long and I have used it from time to time but I have to admit it hasn’t been something I have loved. I always fill my brows in with powder but this can make my brows look a little ashy and 2 dimensional. I like to take this on the Anastasia brush and just draw individual hairs in areas that I heavily fill in, this just makes them look more realistic.
That is my full favourites for June. There isn’t as many as normal but I have loved using them. Please leave me any comments below or drop me an email and let me know what products you have been loving this month!
