Huda Beauty Lashes in Samantha Review

If you have been following my blog for some time, you may know that this isn’t my first pair of Huda Beauty Lashes. A couple years ago I bought a pair in the style Scarlett, because after seeing them online, I thought they would be incredible. But, when I got them through, I realised that they were far more dramatic than I ever wanted, the band was far too thick, and they didn’t sit well on my eyes. I did a post all about them at the time, but I have to say that it wasn’t in particular glowing. From them on, I decided just to stick to my drugstore Ardell lashes and be done with higher end eyelashes. That was until I saw these on special offer back in December and I had to buy them!
I decided this time around to give them a try in the style Samantha. These Samantha lashes seemed much more natural and fluttery in comparison to the Scarlett lashes that I had tried out before, so I thought these would sit much better and hopefully look somewhat normal. When I got these through the post, the first thing I noticed was that stunning Huda Beauty Packaging. I am sure that over the years, everybody has seen her false eyelash packaging, it is just such an iconic item. Then, when I flipped that over, I could not deny that the eyelashes themselves, looked absolutely stunning!

When I first got these out of the box to try them on, I did have to trim them down quite a bit, but then again, I do have a teeny tiny face. Once they were trimmed down, they fit my eyes like an absolute dream and I have to admit that they are super comfortable. They have a relatively thick band, especially in comparison to other Ardell Lashes, but it is nowhere near as thick as the band on the Scarlett Lashes or my Lilly Lashes in Mykonos. I think the band is just the right width, to keep them in place all night long, especially when I pair them with my trusty Duo Eyelash Glue.
I have been wearing these eyelashes so much recently. I would say that since I bought them at the start of December I have probably worn this same pair of eyelashes around 30 times and they still look as good as new. I just make sure that I put them on and take them off really carefully. I also make sure to carefully remove the glue after every single wear and every now and again I will go over the lashes with a wet cotton bot and clean them. I paid around £10 for these when I picked them up in the sale and I think that is a really fair price, I would even be more than happy to pay full price for these because of the amazing quality.

I feel like when I pop these on, it just pulls my whole makeup look together and takes me from having a simple day-time glam, to looking like I am ready to head on out. I love reaching for these and they have really tempted me into trying out more eyelashes from Huda Beauty. I’m not going to make this post incredible long, because at the end of the day, how much can one person ramble on about a pair of false eyelashes!
If you have tried any Huda Beauty lashes, let me know what you thought about them in the comments down below. I will also leave a link down below to where you can find these Huda Beauty lashes in the style Samantha, in case you are interested!
