October Favourites

I say this every month and I bet you guys are more than sick of it, but the fact that another month has gone by is just craziness. It doesn’t feel like two minutes since it was last Christmas and Blogmas is nearly upon us again. I feel like as I get older the years just seem to get quicker and quicker which is a little scary. October for me was just another very busy month. It was just all work as normal both at work and here on my blog. I did have a week off work with my boyfriend where we did a fat load of nothing and we just took it easy together and it was much needed. It is the first time we have had off since we went to Italy so we were both more than ready for it.
In October, I had some birthday money to spend, so I have been and bought myself some new items to add to my ever-growing makeup collection. This is going to be another short favourite post for me, but I really love all of the items that I am going to tell you about…

1)       Tom Ford Bronzer Brush
I have wanted this brush forever and a day but I just couldn’t justify spending that much money on a brush. This brush set me back £80 which I know is mental to spend on a brush especially when I am trying to save for a house, but I wanted to treat myself after months of scrimping. I didn’t think that a brush could ever be worth that much money but this one is. As much money as this brush cost, I think it is well worth that high price tag. This applies my bronzer so nice and evenly and it makes the skin look so pretty. Obviously, you have to have a good bronzer to use this with, but when I pair this with a bronzer like my Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion it just works like a dream!

If you have been reading my blog for some time already you will probably know that my two favourite mascaras by a longshot are the YSL Shocking Mascara and the Maybelline Sensational Lashes Mascara. But recently I have been giving this Lancôme mascara a go and so far, I have to say that I love it. I feel like it combines the two things that I love about the YSL and the Maybelline and I think that is why I am enjoying this one so much. One thing that I also love is how big and fat the wand is, but I know some people really don’t like that about this mascara.

I have been going strong with this concealer for months now and it is still my favourite without a shadow of a doubt. This is a super creamy concealer, that goes onto the skin so smoothly and it blends away like a dream. I have never used a concealer with as much coverage as this stuff. Just a tiny bit of this goes a really long way and one tube of this stuff has lasted me for so long. I didn’t think that anything could beat my love for the Urban Decay Naked Weightless Concealer, but this one really does!

This is a very oldie, but a very goodie. I have been using this for years now and I don’t think the novelty of it will ever wear off. I literally love everything about this foundation, from the bottle, the product, the way it feels, the colour, absolutely everything just makes this my favourite. I try hell of a lot of foundations out and it isn’t very often that I become obsessed with a foundation the way that I am with this Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. To anybody who hasn’t tried this before, I highly recommend it!

I know that this isn’t the first time you have seen this product mentioned in one of my favourites posts. This palette is overall just really stunning. Every colour is just so pretty and complimentary which makes it perfect for travelling with because you can create so many looks with the one palette. The two shades that have really been standing out to me this past month have been the gold glitter shade and the deep burnt red tone. It is so perfect for this time of year with the deeper colours coming back into style again. Plus, the gold shade just pressed on top of the eyelid just looks really classic especially when I pair it with a black winged liner.

I have been wearing this lipstick pretty much constantly since I first bought it. I am so glad that I bought 2 of them because if I couldn’t get my hands on this I would have been sorely disappointed. I hate it when you fall in love with a product and it is limited edition like this lipstick is. I just love that this lipstick is the most perfect neutral shade for my lips. It is just one of them your lips but better shades and it is just stunning. Plus, the consistency is beautiful and so comfortable to wear on the lips all day.
There you have it, my October favourites. I haven't got as many favourites this month as I am trying to behave a little when it comes to splashing the cash on makeup. I am sure I will makeup up for it again soon though. As normal I will leave links down below to all of the products that I have mentioned in case you want to check them out. Let me know what you have been loving in October and I will check some of them out. Make sure to leave me a comment below and let me know what some of your favourite products have been this past month!
