My Charlotte Tilbury Collection So Far

As I am sure that many of you know by now, I am a massive fan of all things Charlotte Tilbury. When she first released her makeup line, I wasn’t all that bothered about it. I had heard of Charlotte Tilbury from working at MAC, I feel like it was a name that was engrained in my skull. When she first started releasing her line of products, I just didn’t understand what her brand could do, that hasn’t already been done. Plus, I never really like to jump into new purchases too quickly by a brand that hasn’t been around for long, I like to wait for a while and see what other people think about them and spend some time reading some reviews.
Anyway, it wasn’t long before I started ordering myself some Charlotte Tilbury goodies. I think it all started with a little humble lipstick and it has been a slippery slope since then. I think it is social media and YouTube that just seem to sway me into everything. The thing that convinced me into buying that first lipstick was simply how the product looked. I am a sucker for nice packaging and I don’t think that there is anything in the CT range that looks basic, everything is stunning and lovely  and vintage looking. Anyway, in this blog post, I am going to share with you some of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products that I own…

Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer
Before trying this primer out, I wasn’t really a big fan of face primers. I had my Benefit Porefessional that I use and love, but that was about it. I have oily skin, so the idea of a primer that brightens and adds glow to the face just didn’t seem right for me. But, I saw so many people using this online and writing reviews about it that I had to try it. When I first got this through the post I wasn’t sure about it on first looks, the product itself has quite a lot of shimmer running through it, but when that is on your face and underneath your foundation, it really does make your skin look like it is glowing within. I wouldn’t say that it controls my oils, but then again, not many primers so. It also doesn’t even out my skin, or help to hide my pores, but it does make my skin look healthier than it has ever looked. I love this stuff and I know that this is going to be a constant in my makeup collection.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks
I have more lipsticks in my collection that I could ever use. I am pretty sure that what started my Charlotte Tilbury obsession was her lipsticks. I think I started out working my way through her Matte Revolution range and I just loved it. Like much of the world, I love a good matte lip product, and these lipsticks were unlike anything I had tried in a really long time. Not only were they matte on the lips, but they weren’t uncomfortable and kept my lips nice and hydrated, which was a first for me when it comes to a matte lipstick. I then moved on and tried more of her K.I.S.S.I.N.G and Hot Lips collection and I have honestly loved every single shade that she has come out with. I know that when I have an occasion or a look in mind, that these lipsticks are going to work really well and last all day, and that is all I want in a lip colour. If you haven’t already tried these lipsticks, I cannot recommend them more, plus if you are a packaging fiend like me, then these are just perfection!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow
I am pretty sure that if you like makeup like I do, then you will have heard of this product. I feel like this is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s most iconic products and that is down to the incredibly vintage style packaging. I love to highlight and contour, so I knew for a fact that I would get this product, I just didn’t know what shade to get. I ended up for the medium skin tone one, but I will say that I wish the contour shade was a little deeper. But, if I went for the deep palette, the highlight shade would have been far too dark for my complexion. I thought that I first got this through the mail that the contour shade would be my favourite of the palette, but it is in fact the highlight shade. I am not a fan of the big crazy, over the top highlighter, I like something more natural and that is what this highlighter shade does for me. I just love having this because it is something so quick and easy that I can grab when I am doing a quick look and it is really great for travelling with.

Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Bronze and Glow
I am normally not the kind of person to get sucked into collections when blogs release them. I just see them as being a PR thing to make some extra money, but when this was released I couldn’t wait to try it out. I am all about cream contouring and highlighting, so I knew that this palette would be something that was right up my street. What I love about this is that it isn’t what I expected, I thought that this palette would be full coverage crème products to help you get a really chiseled look, this is pretty much the opposite. When I have my foundation and concealer laid down, I go in with this, using my finger I apply the highlight shade to all of the high points of my face, it is so natural and just makes my skin look glowing and healthy. Then for the contour I take a little on my Beauty Blender and it just makes me look so healthy and bronzed, the colour is quite sheer but just adds  a depth to the face and makes you look like you’ve been outside in the sun all day.

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic in Sex on Fire
This is the ‘nipple’ blush as it is known to by so many. I have never really been a fan of blushers, I am all about that bronzing lifestyle, but I saw these and I was really intrigued. I think with this blusher, you are meant to use the lighter shade on most of your brush and then just add the deeper shade as a pop of colour right onto the apples of your cheeks. The shade Sex on Fire I just think is the most perfect one for my skin tone. I am very tanned and always struggle finding blushers, because things seem to be far too light or too dark for my complexion, but this is just perfection. The colour of it is out of this world and matches me really well. The consistency of this blusher is really nice and it is so nice and blendable on my skin. When you swatch this blusher it really does have a very buttery consistency and it that is why it always blends out so nicely. I have gone in before a little too heavy with this and all I needed to do was take my MAC 180 Duo Fibre brush and within no time at all it looked stunning.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in Bette
I am all about that quick and easy life and cream eyeshadows to me are the way forward. I only have this in the shade Bette so far and I am obsessed with it. I love how this is such a stunning bright gold and very reflective shade. I use this when I have a makeup look where I want to look a little bit extra. I will just really gently go in with my MAC 217 and add a light wash of this to the eyelid, then if I want a more extreme kind of look using this, I will keep building up the layers until it is how I want it to look. I like to build it up until it has the kind of coverage that I want, rather than going in with too much to start with because I cannot imagine that it is easy to remove. I just think that the colour of this is to die for and the longevity is out of this world for a cream eyeshadow. If you haven’t already tried these out, I would highly recommend these, especially for people who only like a really simple eye look, there is nothing to them but they look really stunning.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows
I saw Charlotte Tilbury using this in a makeup tutorial with Nick from Pixiwoo and it made me want to buy it straight away. Anything the promises fuller and thicker eyebrows and I want to try it out as soon as possible. For those who don’t know, this is ultimately an eyebrow setting gel, but it has particles running through it which attach to your natural brow hairs and makes your natural hairs look thicker. I will either use this on its own to create a really nice and soft look, if not I will use this to lick my brow hairs in place after I have filled in my brows to make sure that nothing moves. What I love about this is that it really does help to thicken up my brow hairs and make them look so much more flawless and thick. I have this in the shade Cara and it is just stunning. I feel like this is one of them really underrated beauty products that I think more people need to try out. This has been one of my favourite eyebrow products for months now and I am sure that is going to continue.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
When I first saw this cream and the price tag that went along with it, I was very intrigued to say the least. I just couldn’t justify how a face cream could cost that much money. I had my Clinique moisturiser that I used and loved, and to be honest I still use and love it, but this moisturiser is just something else. This is a really thick and luxurious feeling moisturised. I love using this because it really does make my skin feel so much more hydrated and plumped up. I use this pretty much every single morning and night and I adore it. It gives me a really good base for my foundation and the rest of my base makeup to sit on and it just really helps to smooth out my fine lines and make my overall complexion look much more perfected. This is said to combat things like sun spots and imperfections on the skin, but I guess time will only tell with that one. But so far, so good with this Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and it has made me want to try more of the line.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Finish Powder
I was on the hunt for a good face powder for such a long time. I wanted something that was nice and lightweight on the skin, didn’t cake up my foundation but locked everything into place so I didn’t look like an oily mess. I really wanted something for my sister’s wedding that didn’t give me flashback in the photos. I then saw so many people using and trying this one so I decided that it was about time that I went ahead and bought it. I will admit that I don’t use this powder to set all of my foundation and concealer into place. Not because the product isn’t good, but because I would burn through these far too quickly. My favourite way to use this powder is to carry it in my handbag and use it as a compact throughout the day when I blot and powder my face. Not only is the compact stunning for pulling out of your handbag, it also really helps to mattify my face from when I need it. This powder is also super finely milled so it just glides onto the skin like silk.

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette
I wanted this palette since the first time that I saw Charlotte Tilbury using this in a YouTube tutorial. She was using it on the stunning Olivia Culpo, who I adore and it just looked so stunning. I immediately went onto the website and purchased this for myself. What I love about this is that all four colours are all so wearable and pretty. You have a stunning prep shade that is perfect for all of the eyelid, then you have a burnt red shade which looks beautiful running through the crease. You also get a deep brown shimmer colour which is really pretty to smoke the look out on the outer corner of the eye. Then you get the most stunning shade in the palette in my opinion and that is a gold glitter. I use this all of the time and I would repurchase this whole palette for this one colour. It just makes the eyes really pop and reflect light.
There you have it, some of my favourite products from my already very vast Charlotte Tilbury collection. I cannot wait to try out some more bits, I have my eye on the Magic Foundation, so make sure to keep an eye out for that review sometime soon. Anyway, I will leave this already very long post here. I will leave a link down below to everything that I have mentioned in case you want to check it out. Also, if you want to see my full review of anything, just click the name of the item above to be taken to that review.
