Most Used High End Makeup Products

It is that time of year again. These posts always seem to be really well received so I thought I would update you all on what my most used makeup products are. I seem to change up my makeup so much, that when I do these posts there never seems to be the same item more than once. I just think that these posts let you really know what I have been loving rather than just my monthly favourites posts, these are the things that I have been using for a good couple of months more or more.
I know a lot of people always mention that my blog is full of high end products and not enough drugstore, so I am sorry, but this is a full high end blog post. I just find that they are consistently so much better quality, whereas I find drugstore to be a little hit and miss. But anyway, here are my most used makeup products from the past couple of months…

1)    Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick
If I am wanting to go full glam, then this is the product that I am going to reach for. All you have to do with this foundation is just draw a couple of lines on your face depending on how much coverage you want, buff it out and there you go, you have a completely flawless base. I loved this foundation that much that I even went out and bought more shades so that I could do a complete highlight and contour routine using it. This foundation just makes me really flawless and put together and that is what I want them I know that I am going out for the night or I am going to have my photo taken and I want my skin to look really smooth and pretty. I just make sure that when I use this foundation I really moisturise my skin beforehand to make it glide on easily with it being so high in pigment.
2)    Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I tried this foundation out for the first time about a year ago and it has pretty much being my day to day foundation. It has a lovely coverage, isn’t too thick and makes the skin look like porcelain, but still like skin if that makes sense. This foundation is great for controlling my oils and keeping them at bay, but it isn’t too dry and it doesn’t cling anywhere on the face. The colour range of this foundation is great, the shade that I have in this foundation is probably the closest that I have ever got to my natural deep olive colouring. I can see this being my go to foundation for a very long time. When I got this foundation by Too Faced it really made me want to try out more by the brand and now I am obsessed with them!
3)    Urban Decay Naked Weightless Concealer
This is probably the longest reigning concealer in my collection, which really does say something because I tend to get bored of products super quickly. I just love how quick and easy this stuff is to use. It glides on the skin so smoothly with the flexible wand that is really nice and comfortable to use around the eyes. The I blend it out using my Beauty Blender and it always looks stunning. This is a medium coverage concealer which is all I really need for when I am going to work. It literally is weightless, as the name would suggest and it is just nice to wear, especially when I am at work and I want products that are all as lightweight as possible. I think everybody needs to give this product ago, there is obviously a reason why I still use this concealer all these years later.
4)    Nars Soft Matte Concealer
I know I have harped on about this quite a lot here on my blog already, but it really is one of my most used products. Since I bought this initially I have been through so many of them because they just seem to work so well for my skin. It is such a lovely consistency and really seems to blur out my otherwise quite large pores around my nose. I pack this on using my finger and then buff it out either with a damp Beauty Blender or my Morphe E20 and it just makes the skin look really smooth and airbrushed. I would be gutted if they ever stopped making this concealer. I use it all the time, especially when I am going out and I want my skin to look super perfected and I am going to have my photograph taken.
5)    Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer
This is literally the most perfect bronzer for me. I have been using the now for months without stopping to try anything else out. This has been on my radar for such a long time because I feel like it is just one of Too Faced most iconic product, right up there with the Born This Way Foundation that I mentioned earlier on. I feel like this is just such a flawless bronzer and it always looks really pretty on the skin. The odd time I have gone in a touch heavy with this, but with a little buffing you are back to looking really good and even. I think that is probably one of the things that I love most about this bronzer that it is pretty hard to go wrong with. I can see this being a permanent addition to my collection from now on. Not to mention that it smells incredible!
6)    Charlotte Tilbury Blush in Sex on Fire
I have been using this blush in this particular shade for ages now and I am still just as in love with it now as I was back then. This just seems to be the perfect shade of blush for my skin and my colouring. It is a nice light pink, but it has some depth to it, I know that sounds silly, but I guess this is just a great all round blusher for me. I have never used a blusher before that is quite as buttery as this one and that just makes it really nice when you apply it to your face. I use this paired with my Morphe E4 Angled Brush and the two just go together so well. Plus, with the lighter and the deeper shade all in one pan it is like you have bought two colours for the price of one, even though that price is £35, I still find it good value for money. I really do want to pick some more up of these soon in different colours!
7)    Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Stripped
I never thought I would be a fan of glosses for the lips, but this Nars Velvet Lip Glide has completely won me over. I feel like everybody talked about these for a couple of weeks when they were first released and then they kind of fizzled out, but I love this stuff. I find that stripped is the perfect neutral shade for my lips. It is nice and hydrating and gives a nice sheen to the lips but isn’t too tacky or sticky, because I cannot stand lip glosses like that. At the minute, I have been loving going in with a good lip liner all over my lips, either the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk or the MAC Spice Pencil and then just go over the top with this. I am well and truly over the matte lips trend and it is all about the sheen and gloss.
8)    Tom Ford Bronzer Brush
I know this is really boujee but bear with me on this one. I am a great lover of makeup brushes. Always have been, but for me, I do tend to go for the ones that are cheaper. I just don’t get why you have to spend a fortune to get a good quality brush, well that was until I tried out the Tom Ford Bronzer Brush. I started to see people using this on YouTube and it just looked so luxurious and like it worked so well. It is a big fat brush that just applied powder products so effortlessly and flawlessly. With this brush, you cannot go in too heavy, it just blends everything out like a dream. At first I didn’t really want to use this through fear of ruining it for the sake of £80, but I really do love this brush and I really think it does justify the heavy price tag. I know it is kind of a leap of faith, but if you can try out this brush I would really recommend it.
9)    Benefit Precisely Brow
At the moment, I am really loving the very full and natural looking brow and this is the perfect tool for the job. It is very similar to the Anastasia Brow Wiz, but to be honest, I do much prefer this brow pencil I find this much more precise and the whole thing in general just seems to be much higher quality, don’t get me wrong through, I love the Anastasia Brow Wiz still. I just think that this brow pencil is much smoother and creamier and just applies really nicely. The colour payoff is really good and you don’t have to feel like you are carving into your face to get a good application. When I use, this I like to get a spoolie and brush all of my brow hairs up the way, then fill in the sparse areas using this. It just makes my brows look so nice and natural and that is a look that I always want to go for.
10)  Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette
I have always said here on my blog that I don’t like buying readymade eyeshadow palettes like this one. I always find that I fall in love with just a couple shades, use every little scrap of them and then I have to buy a whole new palette just for them colours. But this is one palette that I just couldn’t resist. Every single colour in this palette just has my name written all over it. Even now, nearly two years after this palette was released it is still my go to, right up there with my MAC Pro Palette. The shadows are really creamy and blendable and you can create so many looks with the colours that you get. Not to mention that the blush pink packaging is to die for and it looks so pretty in photography!
I feel like for normal day to day, these are my most reached for products. I use at least one of every single day, which to most people will just be normal, but when you have as much makeup as I have got, it is kind of a big deal. I just find that all of these products work really well with my skin, with is a mean feat considering that I have the most awkward skin in the whole world. As normal there are links below to everything that I have mentioned in case you want to check them out!

Also like the sound of the Nars Soft Matte Concealer! With both of these products, I feel like I would have the perfect going out base, flawless!
