Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Review

I am sure that every single person out there that likes makeup, will have heard about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream at some point in time. If you have been here on my blog before, you will know that I am no stranger to Charlotte Tilbury makeup. Over the years, I have tried just about everything that she has released, they are just really good quality products that you can rely on. But, as much as I really wanted to try the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, I just could not bring myself to spend £70 on a face cream. I will spend an arm and a leg on makeup, but when it comes to skincare, I am pretty frugal. I think it is just because you don’t really have anything to show for your money because the products are clear!
It wasn’t until I really started to notice a change in my skin that I decided to finally spend some money on skincare and go for this Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I had read some reviews beforehand and watched countless YouTube videos and there were lots of mixed reviews, but then again, there is for every product out there. I then watched some videos of Charlotte Tilbury herself doing makeup on people on her YouTube channel and she fully convinced me to buy it. Just the way she talks about her products really sucks me in, it could all be bullshit, but the way she talks so passionately about them, she has me sold.

When I first picked this up, I think that the first thing that is quite obvious to everybody, is just how stunning the packaging is. I feel like everything in the Charlotte Tilbury range is just so stunning and this is no different. It has that vintage edge to it that is to die for. I bought the 50ml version of this cream so it was £70, they do a super-size pot, which looks so incredible, but that is £180 for 150ml, so you would save around £30 buying that rather than 3 small pots. If this is a cream that I am going to continuously use, I will opt for the bigger tub, just because it will probably last for years and I won’t have to think about repurchasing every couple of months!

The reason why I felt like I needed to splurge on some skincare is because of the changes that I have started to notice in my skin. I am only 23, but I have started to notice fine lines that weren’t there this time last year. Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t anything drastic and other people won’t even notice them, but for somebody like me who spends ages sat in front of a mirror getting ready every day, I do notice them. One of the things that I think contributes to me seeing my fine lines more is the fact that my skin is a little dry in places, especially on my forehead.
So now, every morning before I go in with my makeup, I apply a good layer of this Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. It is a lovely and thick moisturiser, that really hydrated my skin and plumps up my skin to make it look seamless and flawless. When I apply this moisturiser, I will leave it to settle into my skin for a while, only 5 minutes or so and then I will go in with my makeup like normal. I was sceptical about using this all over my face because I can get oily in places, but that hasn’t made a difference to my natural oils. It just makes my makeup glide on much smoother and makes my dehydrated skin look much more healthy and flawless.
This Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is meant to have benefits to the skin such as evening out the skin tone and helping against hyperpigmentation. I have lots of issues with my skin so I am going to have to keep you guys posted on if this Magic Cream does actually make a difference to the look of my skin, but just on a day to day for moisturising my skin, I really think that this is an outstanding product and I cannot wait to continue using it. I will leave a link to where you can find this down below in case you are interested in it. 1. I'm 22 and likewise started noticing lines on my skin, nothing to cry over but again not something I want. I was thinking of asking for this cream for Christmas and you've definitely made my find up!
