Red Cherry #48 Lashes Review

I have been using Red Cherry eyelashes for such a long time, but I cannot believe that I am only just getting around to writing a blog post about them. I can remember watching a video by Lauren Curtis years ago, I think it was a prom tutorial that she did, and she used these Red Cherry #48 lashes and they looked incredible, so I had to buy them. I ordered them from Amazon, but they seemed to take forever to get to me, god knows where they were shipped from. I think that is why I didn’t want to do a blog post about them, because they haven’t always been that easy to get a hold of here in the UK. But, now you can pick these up just about everywhere, so it is just about time that I did a blog post about them.
Like I said, I have been using these for years and I adore them. For me to really fall in love with a pair of false eyelashes, they have to hold up well. I refuse to buy a pair of eyelashes that I can only wear once, no matter how cheap they may be, if I cannot wear them at least a couple of times, then they are out of the window in my book. Even though I am quite obviously not object to spending quite a bit of cash on makeup, I will not just spend my hard-earned cash on something that is disposable that you can only use once. And that is why I like these Red Cherry #48 lashes, once with a pair of these exact lashes I have had around 20 wears, which is incredibly impressive for something that costs around £3.99.

Something else that I really love about these #48 lashes are how easy they are to apply. I have been wearing false eyelashes almost daily since I was around 14, so we are going on 8 years now, so I am quite a pro when it comes to applying them. I have even been known to apply them on a moving train with no mirror before, that is the only special skill that I have. Anyway, what makes these lashes so easy to apply is that they have a transparent and thin band. In that, they are very similar to the Ardell Wispies, because that is the kind of band that they have. It just makes the lashes really easy to manipulate and get into the right place so that they are nice and comfortable on your lash line. I have found with false eyelashes with thicker bands, they can quite often feel like they are poking you in the eye and can get quite uncomfortable.
Obviously, in order to wear the lashes more than once, you need to be able to clean them, and them then dry and come out looking as good as new. When I clean these eyelashes, I just take a small amount of eye makeup remover on a cotton bud and just gently drag it down the lashes until all of the built-up mascara and eyelash glue has been removed. I will just do it really nice and gentle to ensure that none of the lashes come away from the band. I will then leave them to dry on a paper towel and they come out looking really good. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t look like brand new like they are fresh out of the box, but with a little curl and some mascara, when they are on the eye, they look really nice and natural.

The style of these lashes is very natural and Wispie. They are much fuller on the outer corners, which is a look that I always seem to migrate towards, they are very similar in that respect to the Ardell Demi Wispies, which are some of my favourite false eyelashes. I just think that for £3.99, you really cannot get better quality than these eyelashes. Every time I wear them, I find that they look really natural, but just much fuller and flawless.

Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know what some of your favourite and most worn false eyelashes are and I will be sure to check them out!

  3. I'm impressed! When I put on false lashes, it's an occasion worth celebrating. I actually only use the Ardell lashes you mentioned but I might actually give these a try because I need something really easy to apply but I also want to brench out a bit.
