If I Could Only Own 10 Products

I have far too much makeup in my collection. It over spills from the unit that I specifically bought for my makeup. I think that fact that I had to buy a separate unit for all of my makeup is bad enough, it is even worse now that it is full. So, I am sure you can understand how hard I found it to do this post. This post is about the products that I would have if I could only own 10 makeup products.
I found this so hard to do because on a good day where I am going full glam I can use about 30 items. Which I know sounds insanely excessive, but if you sit and count up everything right from the primers to your finishing sprays I bet it is a high number, maybe not as high as me, but it will be up there. Anyway, without any more of my harping no, I will just jump into the post…

I have been using this foundation for well over a year now and I truly have no intention of slowing down with it yet. I have this in so many shades because not only is it an amazing foundation, but it also great for highlighting and contouring with. It is so quick and easy to use and literally blends out in seconds. I have blended this out with a Beauty Blender and my Morphe M439 and each and every single time it looks like perfection. I would say that it is a medium to full coverage product that can be very easy built up to cover absolutely anything!

When this concealer first came out I didn’t know if I would love it or hate it. Turns out that I love it, but not for what I expected. I normally use concealers for highlighting and concealing under the eyes. I did use this for that and even though it was nice, it isn’t what I use it for now. I now use this for concealing around the face. I take just a small amount of this on a MAC 217 and I blend it in specifically on the areas where I need to cover something. By doing this it stops me from having to go in with another layer of foundation which just helps my skin to look more light and natural. I don’t think I have ever loved another concealer for this reason before but this is just ideal.

At first I wasn’t bothered about trying this concealer. Then I actually bought it, tried it and now I am obsessed with it. This goes on the skin so creamy and literally covers everything. It is so perfect for the areas underneath my eyes because it just blurs and perfects the whole area effortlessly. My only issue with this is how hard it is to get here in the UK, but I guess I can live with that for how good the product is. This has well and truly taken the crown from my Urban Decay Naked Weightless concealer that I have used for years. I have been recommending this concealer to everybody and for good reason, it just works incredibly.

I am an oily gal, so you must have known that there would be some kind of setting powder in this blog post. I don’t think that I could go a day without setting my face with powder. Within a couple of times I would just feel like a prize mongrel. It was between this powder and the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. This one took the bill because of how much you get for the price of the powder. Not to mention that the quality of the product is second to none. I have been using this for years now and I always love how it looks and it really does help to keep my oily skin under control.

I have wanted to try this bronzer for years. I know I am probably going to say that about everything but it is so true. I have such a hard time finding bronzers that actually look like a bronzer on my skin and this one does and it is the perfect shade. It is just the perfect bronze shade for people with naturally tanned skin. I love to take this on my Tom Ford Bronzer brush and just go in all over the face. When I use this it literally just makes me look like I have had a couple good hours out in the sun. It isn’t too orange in tone like some bronzers, it is just a perfect blend of everything that a bronzer should be!

I only bought this product for the first time about a year ago, but now I am hooked on it. As much as I have wanted it for years, I just didn’t think that it would work for me. Everybody seemed to buy the medium shade which I knew just wouldn’t work for me because it wouldn’t be deep enough, so I bought the darkest shade which I think is called ‘Deep’ and it is ideal. It is just the right amount of warmth and ashiness to still be classed as a contouring shade. I use this all of the time paired with my Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt brush and the two go together so well.

I am all about that quick and easy life and that is what this Anastasia Brow Pomade is for me. When I use this with my angled brush I can have both brows on and finished in about a minute. It is really pigmented and helps me to thicken up my brows all the while looking completely natural. I think this is one of them products that you will either love or hate and for me it is definitely love. Plus, I have just started a new jar of this but before that I had been using the same one, day in and day out for about a year and a half, and that for a product that costs about £17, I think is great value for money.

It was so hard to choose between this mascara and the Maybelline Sensational mascara. But on a daily basis, this is the one that I reach for more than the Maybelline one. What I love about this one is the amount of lift and hold that this gives to your lashes. It literally makes them look sky high. It goes on really wet looking but within minutes it sets and locks that lashes in and makes them look really thick and voluminous. I don’t think I will ever get bored of this. Out of all of my drugstore and high end mascaras that I have tried over the years this is the best one by a country mile!

Without eyeshadow, my eyes literally look like piss holes in snow. And for anybody who hasn’t heard that saying before you have learnt something new. I have my MAC Pro Palette that I have painstakingly put together myself and it is my pride and joy. It cost me a fortune, but I love and use every single shade in it and that is ideal for me over other ready-made palettes because there will always be one that you love and use up and then you can’t buy a refill. I even use these eyeshadows for my eyebrows to fill them in. They work just the same as brow powder but just cheaper!

My love for this little baby runs deep. I am sure that I first bought this about a year ago, now and the same baby is still going true. I have used this pretty much every day since I first bought it which just shows that my love for this highlighting and contouring duo is true. As much as I love the contouring and bronzing shade, it is the highlighting shade that has captured my heart. It is just the right amount of highlight for me. I am more of an understates and subtle highlighter person and this is perfect for that. I wear this on my cheekbones every day and in the summer months I will take it on my collar bones and the balls of my shoulders and it just looks so pretty!
There you have it. Sorry that this turned into such a long post, I just get so over excited and animated when I am talking about my favourite products.
