August Favourites

Another month down, another favourites post. It is so scary to think that we are in September already and that fact that I am 23 this month is just scary. I feel that when I got to 21 I thought it was amazing, then when I got to 22 I didn’t really care about it. Now I’m approaching 23 I feel like shit is about to get real, I am an actual adult and it terrifies the shit out of me.
Speaking of being an adult, the past month has been one of my trying to save money, which is why there isn’t many items in this favourites post. I bought a new car last month and towards the end of this year I am planning on buying my first house with my boyfriend so we need all the money that we can in our pockets and not smeared all over my face!
So, this is going to be one of my smaller favourites post. Without any more rambling on, here are my August favourites…

I didn’t want to jump on the hype of this product. When I see a product as raved about as this one is I try to stay away from it because I feel like I already know everything that I can do about it and so does everybody else out there. But I needed full coverage under my eyes so I knew that I had to try this out and I haven’t looked back. Other than my new Nars concealer this is pretty much all I have been using for under my eyes. I love it, I am kicking myself that I didn’t try it out sooner. I just can’t believe how much of a ball ache it is to try and get it here in the UK. I know that QVC sells it but if they ever had my shade it would be much appreciated!

I mentioned this in my last favourites post and it is in another one for good reason and that is because it is incredible. This stuff covers everything, and trust me when I say that I have a lot that I need to cover, especially under my eyes. Just the tiniest amount of this and everything is covered up and looks really flawless and pretty. Since my last favourites post I have gone back out and bought this in my natural skin tone and not a highlighting shade to help pin point conceal on my face and it is out of this world. Doing this is so much better than applying another layer of foundation and caking up your face.

I have been admiring these Eyes to Mesmerise by Charlotte Tilbury online for so long. I feel like everybody uses them and also uses them in their photography for their blog, probably because even in the pot they are so incredible and pretty. I have been using this so much over the past month. I just go in with a really small amount of this on my MAC 217 and I just really buff it onto the eyelid. I do it this way because then I don’t deposit too much product and have a wet looking lid, and I don’t waste product. The pigment in these is just really nice and this shade is just so pretty and has become my go to.

I was so sceptical about this foundation before I bought it. Probably because I have been so in love with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation for years and I still am, but this foundation has been a pleasant surprise. I would say that this foundation has all the goodness of the Luminous Silk foundation but just ever such a tad better. It has a slighter fuller coverage and blends out on the skin so perfectly. The reason why I have been loving this foundation so much recently is just because of how natural it looks and sits on the skin but it also makes you look flawless, it is like the two shouldn’t go together, but they do!

This is one of them products that I just know I am never going to tire of. As soon as I hit the pan on this I am going to be buying a new one as a backup. I use this day in and day out. The contouring shade is just perfect for subtle and everyday sculpting and the highlighter is out of this world. I have never been a massive fan of highlighter but this one is just so natural and pretty on the skin. I wasn’t sure if this was going to work for me when I first bought it but it did and I am so happy that I have it in my collection. Plus, this product works so well on so many different skin tones and types, it is just a really great universal product.
There you go. They are my August favourites. Like I said, I am on a mission to save money so you can probably expect to see some of the products that I already have in my collection being reused and taking a new look at. I hope that you enjoyed this little post. As normal with all posts here on my blog I will link below to all of the items that I’ve mentioned in case you want to take a look at them. Make sure to leave me a comment below and let me know some of the products that you were loving through August!
