The Concealer Low Down

Concealer has always been one of my favourite makeup products. I just think when you have a good concealer on top of a good foundation it just makes your whole base look so much better and so perfected. If there is a new concealer released and I haven’t tried it out I have to buy it straight away and give it a go, which is why there is so many concealer reviews up on my blog!
My motto for concealer is always the fuller coverage the better so I can already guarantee you that this post is going to be featuring hell of a lot of full coverage products. I have so much darkness under my eyes so it basically takes a whole army of concealers just to make the area look somewhat normal. I tend to only use concealer for under my eyes so all of these products are lighter shades than my skin tone to really highlight that area.
In this post, I am going to be letting you know all about my favourite concealers. I will try not to ramble on about them all too much. But I love each of them for different reasons and with all of them I really can’t imagine not having them in my collection!

I am now on my 7th tube of this concealer. Yes, you did read that last bit right, 7th! If that doesn’t show how much I love this concealer, then I don’t know what will. I have never used a concealer like this before and that is why I love it so much. It is really full coverage, nice and lightweight and it looks so stunning on the skin. The way that this glides on the skin from the wand is unlike any other concealer that I have used before. I can barely even put into words my love for this concealer without sounding a little strange, but if you haven’t tried it yet I would highly recommend giving it a go!

I was very late onto the bandwagon for this concealer and I am now kicking myself that I didn’t try it out quicker. This stuff is exactly what it says on the tin. It is radiant and really nice and creamy. I use this to highlight all over the face because of how comfortable it is. It doesn’t settle into any fine lines and crease up and time and time again it just looks stunning. I would say that it is a medium to full coverage but it can definitely be built up to a fuller coverage if you want to.

When I first bought this concealer, I was incredibly sceptical about it. There seemed to be such a small amount of product in the pot that I just couldn’t see it lasting longer than a week. I was wrong and I will admit that. This stuff is so pigmented and blendable that the tiniest amount of this crème goes the longest way. It is so full coverage and really makes the skin look blurred and perfect. For some this could be too heavy because it is a gel to crème formula I would say, but if you have a lot to cover then I would say look no further than this concealer.

This was the first high end concealer that I ever tried. I must have bought my first one of these at least 7 or so years ago, because I can remember using this when I was at school and everybody wanting to use it. I must be on my 10th pot of this stuff, probably more to be honest. This concealer is great for pin point concealing. What I like to do is use a medium coverage foundation then go in with this on a brush and just add coverage where I need it. I have this in so many different shades, for my normal skin tone and also for highlight and contouring and it is perfect for everything!

When I first bought this concealer, it took me ages before I actually started to use it. I just thought with it been a HD product that it would be as thin as water and pretty sheer. I was wrong and it’s amazing. I have been using this for around 2 years now and I love it and how it looks every single time that I’ve used it. It is nice and creamy and not heavy at all so it doesn’t settle into any fine lines around the eyes. Plus, with it being HD you can use it and have flash photography and you know that you aren’t going to be glowing white like a ghost.
The 6 products are honestly my absolute favourites when it comes to concealers. I try out so many different concealers each month but there are the few that I always go back to and reuse until they are all gone. I am sure that I have repurchased all of these at least once so I think that shows how much I love them all!
Leave me a comment down below and let me know that are your favourite concealers. I will also leave links down below in case you want to check out any of the concealers that I have mentioned.

  3. I'm just the same, as much as I love a light coverage foundation, I'm all about the full coverage when it comes to concealers, I guess it's all about balance! I love the UD Naked Skin concealer as well (even though it tends to dry out quite quickly in the pot), but the Becca Ultimate Crème Concealer sounds like the perfect pick for a bad skin day!
