Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette

I have had this palette for absolutely ages and I cannot believe that I am only just getting around to writing a blog post for it. I was actually adamant that I had already done a post for this palette. I normally write a post and queue it as soon as I try something out, so the fact that this one slipped through the net is a little bit crazy. If you have seen a post on this before leave me a comment down below and let me know because I feel like I am going mad!
I first bought this palette in around August last year and I have been loving it since I first bought it. I had seen this being splashed all over the internet, especially by bloggers and I knew that I wanted to try it out straight away. The selling point for me was when I saw Charlotte Tilbury using this for a look on Olivia Culpo and I was sold automatically. I think straight after that video I logged onto her website and bought it.
I am going to try to keep this post relatively short because I am sure that I have wrote it before and I feel a touch like I am repeating myself already. But anyway, here is my review of the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette!
First up, in this palette you get 4 shades, all of them work really incredible together. The lightest shade is the prime shade. This is a really light neutral colour which is great to apply all over the eye from the lash line to the brow bone to prepare the eyelid for eyeshadows. It is a very sheer colour and even when I have tried to build it up on my lid it still seemed pretty sheer. But, like I said it is a great shade to prime with.

Then you also get a nice deep brown shade. I would say it is a cool tone brown and it is great for blending on the outer corner of the eye and into the crease. It just adds a nice depth to the eye, but it isn’t anything too intense. It would also look really pretty as just a light wash of colour across the whole eyelid. It is super blendable and just looks so flawless.
Now for my most used shade in this palette, the burnt red shade. I have wanted to try a deep red eyeshadow for the longest time, but I couldn’t imagine that it would look good. I like to take this on a big fluffy blending brush and just take it into the crease and it gives the eyes a pop of colour and it makes the blues of my eyes look really light and bright. I also like to take this on a small pencil blending brush and take it close to the lower lash line.

This next colour is my far, my favourite out of the whole palette and that is the gold glitter shade. What I like to do is take my ring finger and get this product and then just press it onto my eyelid, right where I want the glitter. The reason why I love this is because it is such a nice pop to the eyes, it reflects the light really nicely and my favourite part, you don’t have to mess around with glitter glue, which always gets on my nerves!
I like to take the prime shade all over my eyelid, either on a flat brush or using my finger. Then the brown shade on my MAC 217 and apply on the outer V of my eye and then whatever is left on the brush through the crease of the eye to get a nice gradient. Then with the deep red shade I will take this on a fluffy brush right through the crease. Then like I said, using my ring finger press the glitter over the top of the prime shade on the centre of the eyelid.
Like I said at the start, this is a really incredible and versatile palette. It is so quick and easy to use and all of the good, go to colours are right there in one place. Not to mention that it is great for travelling with because all of the colours are right there in one compact package!

As normal I will leave a link down below to where you can find this product in case you want to check it out. Make sure to leave me a comment down below if you have tried this palette out and what you think about it. Also, leave me a comment if you have seen a post about this product here on my blog before, because I am adamant that I have wrote one before!
