March Favourties

I cannot believe that we are in April already and that I am sat here writing my March favourites. It only seems like two minutes ago, I was sat on the floor surrounded by makeup creating my favourite products of 2016 post and here we are just a couple weeks shy of Easter, craziness.
I’m not moaning though because that just means that I am even closer to my vacation to Italy and I have never been so excited in my life. This time in two months I will be walking around, in the sun and I will be well and truly in my element.
Anyway, in January and February even though I bought a lot of makeup, in my eyes I just didn’t seem to spend enough, so in March I just went a little mad and bought everything that I laid my eyes on. Which means that this favourites post could turn into something really long, but I will try and restrain myself.
So, here are my March Favourites…

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
This is one of them foundations for me that just comes around again and this last month I have been in love with it. I have never used a foundation that has ever worked as well for my skin. I have oily skin so at first I didn’t think that this foundation would work for me but I was so wrong. When I use a buffing brush it just works really nicely into my skin. It sits really nice all day, doesn’t make me look oily and best of all just feels really comfortable. This foundation has been buried at the back of my foundation drawer for the past year while I have been trying out different things but I feel like this time it is back to stay!

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder
This is one of them products that has been on my wish list for absolute years. I knew that I wanted it when I first saw it in a YouTube video but I put off buying it because I didn’t know if the shade that everybody seemed to have would be good for my skin tone. So, I picked up the deep shade and it is the ideal sculpting shade for my skin. It is slightly ashy with slight orange undertones and it just makes sculpting so quick, easy and effortless. When I pair this with my Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt brush it just works like a dream!

I was under the impression that I would be able to stay strong and not be tempted into buying this foundation, I think I lasted all of about 30 minutes. I have been in love with the matching lip cheat for years now, so when the Pillow Talk lipstick came out I knew that I had to buy it. This is basically the same colour as my natural lips so this just gives a really nice and finished look when I apply it. I have been wearing it pretty much every single day since I bought it, and I have no plan on slowing down. I pray that they make this lipstick a permanent part of the Matte Revolution line and not just limited edition.

YSL Shocking Mascara
I have never really been fussed about trying out high end mascaras. In my mind, I was of the opinion that all mascaras did the same thing. They made your eyelashes look longer, thicker and darker, so I couldn’t see how high end mascaras could charge £30 for something that a Maybelline Mascara can do for £5. That was until I tried this mascara and my opinion completely changed. I now understand why they deserve the high price tag. I have never used something before that gives as much lift and curl to my eyelashes. I can see myself keeping one of these mascaras in my drawer for a very long time.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This is one of them products that I just keep rediscovering. It is out of this world. It is exactly as the name suggests, it is glowing and creamy and just makes the whole area under the eye where I apply it look perfected. It is a full coverage product but when it is applied and blended out with a Beauty Blender it gives a really nice and natural finish and doesn’t look at all cakey or thick on the skin. Also, every time when I have used this concealer underneath my eyes I have never had any creasing and when I set with powder it is locked in place all day long!

Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick
I am pretty sure that this foundation was in my February favourites post but it is just one of them products that I can’t seem to tear myself away from. Every single time I have used this product it has left my skin looking nothing but perfect. I have a couple shades now and have been using it for cream highlighting and contouring and it looks so seamless and well blended. If you are on the market for a good full coverage and easy to handle foundation, then I would look no further than this foundation.
There you have it, my March favourites. There are some new things in this post and others that I just cannot seem to stop using. I would highly recommend any of these products because they have all been working out absolutely amazingly for me. As normal with all posts on my blog I will leave links down below to where you can check them out if you are interested. Make sure to leave me any comments that you may have below and I will get right back to you!
