Morphe E48 Tapered Blending Brush Review

I think I mentioned in my last post about the Morphe E20 that I was inspired down the Morphe path thanks to Jaclyn Hill. She did a video on her YouTube channel where she listed all of her favourite Morphe brushes and this was one of them.

If I remember correctly she used this to set the area under her eyes so I thought that I would give it a go. I have been using the Real Techniques Setting Brush under my eyes for the longest time so I am very happy now that I have found a replacement.

Not that I really wanted to find a replacement because I really do love that brush but I had just been using it for so long so I wanted to give something else a go for a while. Plus, the good thing about this brush is that it is quite a bit larger than the Real Techniques brush so I can set the area much quicker.

The good thing about this brush in my opinion is just how soft it is. It is like using silk under your eyes. I honestly have never tried brushes softer than this Morphe brush. And no, I am not sponsored for saying this, I just really rate this product.

The bristles on this brush I found to hold the product really well. Plus, when you have used it a couple times I can see that the brush has really fluffed up a little bit and looks more or less double the size. And even though it does make it larger because it is tapered it is still easy to get into all of the nooks and crannies around your eyes and right into all of the fine lines and creases.

Even though I have been using this brush primarily underneath my eyes for setting my concealer into place I have tried it for powder contouring as well. Because it is tapered it is great for laying the colour down along my cheekbone and then the outer bristles help to disperse the product and keep it looking really soft.

The only thing for me that will keep me using my Real Techniques Setting Brush is the size of it. Because it is smaller and it has a much smaller handle it is great for just throwing in my makeup bag when I am out and about for the day, because my Morphe E48 brush is quite long from tip to top.

I don’t want to turn this post into something really long because at the end of the day this is just about a simple brush. But I do really love it and I can really see myself using it constantly for months on end, or until I find something that can top this one.

As normal here on my blog in will link below to where you can find this Morphe E48 brush here in the UK. Also, make sure to leave me any comments or questions that you have below and I will get right back to you!
