Best Fashion On A Budget

As we probably all know by now, I am a major shopping addict. I make a laugh and a joke about it but I buy something literally everyday. It doesn't have to be expensive but I feel better once I have bought something whether it cost £100 of £5!

Just so you know though, I work very hard for my money and I have the money in the bank to spend. I'm not trying to brag, I just want to make the point that my expenditure isn't going on credit cards or anything. When it comes to clothes I only shop from high street retailers. I have bought designer clothing in the past and I end up very frustrated when they go out of fashion. With the exception of my designer coats, my clothes are all from the high street.

I then dress up my high street clothing with designer accessories, whether it be a handbag, shoes, scarf or jewellery. Most of the time the high street clothing stores mimic the fashion seen on the runway shows. Such as a few seasons ago when Givenchy shown a lace up bodysuit, soon after every high street retailer had them for no more than £20, and unless you are an expert or an addict (like myself), or if you inform somebody, they would never know if it is £20 or £500. It is all about how you wear the clothes, how they fit and how you dress them. Now onto my favourite places to shop...

ASOS

As you have probably noticed by now, a lot of my clothes are from ASOS. This place does some really nice quality clothing. The price is super reasonable. They really closely mimic the fashions you see on the catwalk. I buy things in bulk of here because they can last you for a season and you don't feel guilty when it just isn't quite right any more.

The only down side to ASOS is that they are only online so you have to post any returns back and you can't try things on first, but for the high quality and the price it is spot on. I have also ordered from here probably well over 100 times and not once have I had any issues.

Topshop

Whenever I think of high street fashion I think of Topshop. This is more expensive from ASOS but that is well reflected in the quality. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to high street fashion.
Topshop is on the higher end of the high street shops. The front row for this shops includes the likes of Alexa Chung and Cara Delevigne. Everything from Topshop is really wearable and some of the items that I have had have lasted me absolute years. My only issue I ever had was with a piece I bought from the Kendall and Kylie range, but I don't believe that was inadvertently linked to Topshop even though they carried the items.

Missguided

This is a brand that I was very unsure about for a number of years. I can remember ordering from them in my teens and I was just s disappointed with the quality of the items. I knew that they were only cheap but I still expect a decent quality.

Anyway I tried them again recently and I was so pleasantly surprised, the quality really has improved tenfold. I love this shop for more dressier looks. They do some nice dresses and skirts which elsewhere would cost a lot more money. If you are looking for younger looking clothes or a little more risqué, this is the shop for you.

BooHoo

Again this is a shop that for a very long time I was unsure of. I had mixed feelings about it because all I had heard was about poor quality. But I tried it out and ordered some basic t-shirts and I have to say I loved them.

I then went onto to order some blouses, shirts and skirts and I have admit that I really have never had an issue with anything I have bought from them. If you are shopping on a budget this is a great shop to look at.

I would love to hear from you and find out which high street stores you love to shop in, I am always up for trying something new, so either leave me a comment or drop me an email and I would be more than happy to get back to you!

    1. I am exactly the same. If I buy a top for £30, I think "hmm that could have been a new foundation!"
