Cover FX Custom Cover Drops Review

I first saw these drops been used quite a while a go now, it is just one of them products that I haven’t really got around to trying yet. I can remember first seeing Carli Bybel using these Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and using it mixed with the Koh Gen Do Aqua foundation and I knew that I wanted to try them out.

Before I bought these Custom Cover Droops I did a little research into them because I always like to know what I am spending my hard earned cash on. What these Cover FX drops are meant to do is enhance and up the amount of coverage in your foundation, or alter the colour to make it match your skin type more.

I have also seemed people particularly on YouTube use this as their base without mixing it with a foundation. It does look pretty that way and seems to work well but so far I have only mixed it with various foundations.

I got the shade G80 with has golden undertones which matches my olive complexion really well. I like to mix this in particular with the foundations that are a little too light for my skin. I guess that is the issue with buying foundations online, every now and again they can be a touch too light and these just make the colour match me absolutely perfectly.

The shade that I got would be too dark for me to wear as just a foundation throughout the year but when I go on holiday and I go deeper than the colour of my everyday foundation I can tell that I will be reaching for these all of the times!

I really love the packaging of this foundation. It is a glass bottle with a pipette top. So all you have to do is squeeze and them add as many drops as you require to your foundation or face cream.

In the bottle you do get 15ml of product which is about half that which you would get in a full size foundation, but you need to remember that these Cover FX Custom Cover Drops are not made to be applied all over the face, they are just there to enhance foundation, due to their highly pigmented formula.

Over the past few weeks I have been reaching for these Custom Cover Drops so much. They are really good and I think that they help my foundation last a lot longer on the skin. It also has allowed me to try out some of the foundations that I tossed towards the back of my draw because they weren’t the perfect shade.

I really do recommend these Cover FX Custom Cover Drops. I am planning on getting them in a couple colours with various undertones so that I can add them into my freelance kit.

I hope you enjoyed this little review. Be sure to leave me a comment below or drop me an email if you have any questions. I will also leave a link down below to where you can check these drops out and some of my other favourite Cover FX products.
