Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Chestnut Review

I am so glad that I have finally bought this foundation stick. It has been on my list to get for such a long time and I have been putting it off because I have always thought that there is something newer and more exciting that I could get.

I got this in the shade Chestnut so that I can contour with it. I have been using this by applying it from the stick to the outer parameters of my forehead, under my cheekbones and slightly under my Jawbone. Then I have been taking my Chanel Cream Bronzer and blending it out with my Beauty Blender until I am left with something seamless and flawless. And it just looks so pretty and well blended.

First up I want to mention the packaging of this product. It is so pretty to look at, you can see from the pictures that it just looks high quality and expensive, and to me that makes it feel all the more luxurious when I am applying it. This compared to something like the Makeup Forever HD Stick foundation just feels much nicer.

In this Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick you get 9g of product. Which may not seem a lot compared to a normal foundation where you get 30ml, but this is really highly pigmented so a little goes a really long way. And especially for me who is using this as a contour I will only be using a small amount in the odd area so this will last for such a long time.

The consistency of this product is really nice and creamy which helps it to glide on the skin directly from the stick really nice and smooth and it also helps when you are blending it out either with a brush or Beauty Blender.

Because of how good this foundation stick has been for contouring I am planning on getting my natural skin colour and a highlight shade so that I can do a full cream highlight and contouring routine using these products.

It isn’t very often that I get really excited about a product but I can confidently say that this is the best contouring product that I have used in a very long time. I would say that it has took the crown from my LA Girl Pro Conceal but there is such a difference in the price of the two items that I don’t think it would be right to compare the two closely.

If you have been looking for a new cream contouring product I would honestly say look no further than the Bobbi Brown Foundation stick, it is really creamy, blendable and it stays put all day when I set it with a powder.
