MAC Lipsticks in Stone and Twig

I was walking past the MAC counter in Selfridges and I had to buy something so I settled for these two lipsticks. Recently I have turned into such a lipstick hoarder. I buy so many of them by different brands. The ultimate goal is to have one of them revolving lipstick holders full with all my different lipsticks.

I knew that I wanted something that was really similar to my natural lip colour so I went for the shade Twig. Before I got Velvet Teddy thinking it was going to match my lips but it was too pink, the I got Whirl thinking that may be better but that was too brown.

When I looked at them in the store, Twig seemed to be a mix of Whirl and Velvet Teddy so I got it and I have been loving it. This colour really does mimic the natural colour of my lips. I have been using this near enough every single day and I am obsessed, this really is right up there with Charlotte Tilbury Super Cindy in my opinion!

The other MAC lipstick that I got was the shade Stone. I think that this is such an iconic MAC shade. I think that everybody should have a deep shade in their collection. I love to wear this kind of colour especially at this time of the year when we are in the midst of winter. This colour is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury shade Birkin Brown, but this is ashier whereas the CT shade is more red in tone.

I hope you have enjoyed this little post. I can see me wearing these two colours for the rest of winter and I can honestly say that Twig is my new go to shade. I really do love it and I would suggest it to anybody that has an olive complexion similar to my own.
