Chanel Coco Noir Perfume Review

I always struggle on reviewing perfume. I am just not very articulate when it comes to describing something that I can’t show you. I have wanted this perfume for the longest time and I am so glad that I just bit the bullet and finally got around to buying it.

I think the main thing that attracted me to this perfume is the packaging. It is more or less the same as the Chanel No5 packing, but in black. Straight away that is a winner to me, anything back and sleek has my name all over it. I know you shouldn’t just buy something because of the packaging but I have to say how good this looks sat up on my shelf with the rest of my perfumes on!

The thing that did initially put me off this perfume was simply the price. I know that I love Chanel perfumes so I wasn’t unsure about the product inside, because I had sampled it and I loved it, I just couldn’t really bring myself to splash £75 on a perfume!

Anyway, I am really glad that I did because I have fallen head over heels for this scent. It has become my new everyday go to fragrance. I would even say that this has bumped my Chanel No5 off the top spot. I don’t know what it is but there is just something about this Chanel Coco Noir Perfume that has me hooked.

To me, the smell of this Coco Noir is very similar to the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It is really deep and musky with undertones of berries. I have been loving this perfume recently because I just think that it is perfect for the winter time. I know I am going to be wearing this religiously for the next few months!

I don’t really have much more to say about this other than I am really loving it and I highly recommend anybody going into their local department store and giving it a smell because it really is lovely and perfect for over the Christmas period!
