ASOS Black Suede Western Boots Review

For me these little boots are absolutely perfect. If you know me, you will know that I am obsessed with country music. So for me anything that is associated the deep south and has a country vibe it is for me.

I can remember it was only last year and I asked my dad if he thinks it is socially acceptable for a girl in the UK to wear a proper pair of cowboy boots. He laughed in my face and said if he ever saw me in cowboy boots he would set me on fire. A little harsh I know but I guess he just felt really strongly about it.

So then I saw these little gems and I had to buy them. They are a type of slouchy cowboy boots which are subtle enough to wear walking around in the UK. I love these boots and I have to admit that I love them so much. I have worn then during the daytime just going out and about but I have also worn them on a night out with a mini skirt and a pair of tights.

I did initially want a pair by Isabel Marant but they were close to £500 and they had a concealed heel. I wasn’t keep on the idea of a heel because I like to go out for the day and I walk quite far so I wanted them to be flat. The first day that I wore them out when I got back home I noticed that the heels on them seemed to disintegrate quite quick. All the rubber of the sole was all torn and frayed. So I did take them to a cobbler and get a new thick sole put back on them. I think this only cost me around £10, which I think was well worth it.

I will try to link to the same boots below and if I can’t find them I will put down some similar alternatives…
