Topshop Parka Review

I know that August is a very strange month to mention a coat never mind to do a full post dedicated to a Parka. But I am in love with this coat and I really wanted to talk to you about this. I have owned this coat for ages now and winter after winter it becomes my favourite again and I bust it back out of the wardrobe.

I think I got this coat for my 17th or 18th birthday so it was probably around 4 years ago. At this time, I wasn’t driving so I was stood at the bus stop for the longest time and I needed something to wrap up warm in. I saw this on the Topshop website and fell in love with it and from then I literally begged my dad to get it me.

I had never really asked for anything this expensive at the time, I think it was around £150 and I never in a million years would have asked for that from my mum and dad, but needs must. But then it come around to my birthday and the good old parents came through for me.

I just wanted to mention this because for the money it has been amazing. I wear it all the time, it is perfect for a winter day. Now when I wake up and I know I have to go outside and scrape my car because it is all frosty I just immediately reach for this coat. I probably have going on 50 winter coats and this is the one that I am still obsessed with.

The great thing about this coat is that it has an inner layering. The inner layer is a thick quilted material and it is this that the fury hood is attached to. It then has buttons running around all of the edges what just attaches to the green outer part of the coat. This is great for around September/October time when it isn’t cold enough for a full-on winter coat but still too cool not to wear a coat!

Parkas have always been in fashion and I think they are just one of them winter wardrobe staples that everybody should have. For me the Parka is right up there with leather jackets and camel coats!

If you are interested in taking a look at the one that I have or some similar alternatives I will leave some links below to where you can find them. Also if you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below and I will get right back to you!

  1. This is such a nice Parka! I love them. I definitely agree it's worth spending a bit more on a coat and investing as they can last you years!
