MAC Posey Creme Blush Review

This was the first MAC Blush that I ever bought and I think that now I am on my third one of these. When I first bought this online I had no idea that it was a Crème Blush, I did want a powder, but now looking back it was a happy accident because I absolutely love it.

This MAC Crème Blush is in the colour Posey and I think this is such a universal product which looks great on everybody. I have used this on many brides over the years and I found that this looks really lovely on light to medium/tan skin tones.

One massive bonus I find about this being a Crème blusher is that I can deposit some product onto a pallet using a spatula, this way it is more hygienic as I don’t have to keep going back into the product with my brush which has already touched a client’s face.

Personally, when I first got this product for a long while it was shoved to the back of a draw because I could use it properly. I used a MAC Angled Brush to apply it, but to me it never looked smooth on the skin, it looked quite choppy.

Then I started to apply it with the best tool a makeup artist can have… fingers. The warmth from your hands I find really helps work the product into the skin and make it look more flawless and smooth. Also when using your hands I find that it gives you more control of the product so you don’t apply too much.

I have naturally very tanned skin and this works really well. In the pan it looks quite a deep pink, but when it is applied to the skin it really sheers out and just gives a nice pink glow.

Since buying this colour MAC Crème Blush I have been out and bought more of the shade range just because I find that they work so well on many different skin types and tones. As normal with all of my blog posts I will link below to this item and a few more of my favourites!
