Rosie Huntington-Whitley Makeup Look

Rosie Huntington-Whitley has been my ultimate girl crush for so long and I could not possibly do recreating celebrity looks without doing one of this babe. I can remember first seeing images of her cropping up when she was only in her teens and just thinking how can somebody be so naturally pretty. I loved her from then. She was then in Transformers 3 and I just thought, YAAAAS.

Rosie always looks immaculate and the features that I can’t help notice on her are the structured cheekbones, full lips and natural eyebrows. So, I will put down some steps to help get this kind of look. Not promising you will look like her twin, but we can all hope!

First her base always looks perfected, but you can see that nothing too heavy is used. I would go in with something such as the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation. This does a great job of evening out the complexion without making it look too heavy.

As I am sure you can see from the image, Rosie doesn’t really have the need to conceal heavily under the eyes but there is a definite highlight there. I would use Nars Creamy Concealer and use the downwards triangle method to highlight and brighten, then blend using a Beauty Blender to make it seamless.

I would then go in with Laura Mercier Brightening Powder under the eyes to keep it nice and luminous. Then the rest of the face I would lightly set with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Next up I would bronze the skin. I would take a matte bronzer such as the MAC Bronzer on a large brush such as the Tom Ford Bronzer Brush. Then I would go around the parameters of the scale particularly around the hairline and down the cheeks.

To really carve out the cheekbones I would take Charlotte Tilbury’s Face and Sculpt brush and a deep powder such as a MAC Sculpting powder. This brush is great because it helps to naturally follow the contours of the face. Then I would just go right under the cheekbones.

Then onto the eyes. For a base shadow I would use a nice bronze colour such as MAC Woodwinked. Then in the crease a nice deep brown such as mystery. Then taking a clean MAC 217 brush I would go in and blend everything together. Also taking the same Mystery lightly under the eyes and blending down.

Loads of mascara to the lashes. I am thinking the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir would be good because it coats the lashes absolutely jet black and makes them look full.

For the natural looking brows, I would use something like the Hourglass Arch Brow or the Anastasia Brow Definer and go in with an extremely light hand.

For the lips I would go in with a nice pink shade that is suitable for your skin tone. The Max Factor lipstick in English Rose is perfect for this look, because it applies like a lipstick, but shines like a gloss.
That is it for my Rosie talk through. I hope this gave you some hints on how to achieve a glowy look like RHW always has. As normal I would love to hear from you, there is also a list of products below that!
