Adele Glastonbury Glam!

Yesterday I was meant to post an outfit of the day post, which obviously didn’t go up. I have been super ill and I was in bed all day. So my day consisted of lying in bed all day, watching movies like Pretty Woman and eating far too much Galaxy and Dairy Milk.

Oh, and my outfit consisted of pyjama bottoms and a Courteeners band hoody. That is then how I stayed all day. I then went for a shower and put the same clothes back on and got back in the exact same position.

So I thought I would do something a little different. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who watched Adele on Saturday night when she performed at Glastonbury. She was incredible and I’m sure that other people noticed her makeup just as much as I did, especially her eyeshadow.

So on Sunday I made it my mission to try to find the products that she used. After much scrolling and Googling I found her makeup artist that she always uses. I found him and stalked his Instagram immediately, he is called Michael Ashton.

And low and behold there was an image on his Instagram which said that he would be posting all of the products that she used and how to get the look at home. So naturally I sat and I refreshed his feed near on 100 times throughout the day. Then he finally uploaded a picture that said to follow his snapchat, so I obviously did immediately.

There he had posted individual images of all the products he used. I will pop some of the products below that he used and how to get the same look.

For priming and prepping the skin there was quite a lot of products shown in the image. But most of them didn’t have names showing but the three that I could decipher are, Erno Laszlo Repair Serum, this will be for use all over the face to moisturise the base. Then an eye cream is shown, again the name isn’t visible but my favourite is the Estee Lauder one. And finally to prep the lips there is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic.

So for the base Michael used the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation. This is very similar to the normal Double Wear; it still has the same high level of coverage without the thick or cakey feel to the face. The to perfect the skin Laura Mercier concealer is used. Michael doesn’t specify if this is for under eyes or for perfecting the skin. But I love this concealer and I use it for both things.

Also listed for the skin is the Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher. I love this stuff and I have used it every single day since I bought it. This Retoucher has reflecting pigments in it which brighten and capture light This is the ultimate product for highlighting underneath the eyes, but it does it subtly. Then for powder the only product shown is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish powder. This is like silk on the skin and really locks everything into place.

Then moving onto the eyes. The image he uploaded showed a Charlotte Tilbury Paint pot but again it didn’t truly show the colour, having had a look through mine I would say it is close to the shade Bette, this is a gold cream colour base. Next to this there is a MAC pigment, again no shade but from what I can see it looks like Museum Bronze just pressed over the top.

Adele is really well known for her eyeliner. Michael said that he uses both a gel and a waterproof eyeliner but doesn’t specify or show which ones of brands. My favourite gel liner is the Bobbi Brown and a good waterproof one is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Infinite Liner. Then for mascara it is the Dior one, which I own and love, it is outstanding. For the lashes half lashes are shown, Ardell do a really good pair of these!

For brows a pencil is used, I personally like the MAC Veluxe Brow Pencil, it gives a great colour and has a comb on the end to help blend the product through. Then the product used to set them in place is the Estee Lauder Brow Now.

Blush is a mixture of both the Armani Maestro Fusion blush, no colour is given but it looks like Mediterranean Blush, and the Maybelline Cream Blush.

For lips Adele wore a MAC Lip Liner all over the lips, no colour is mentioned but having a play with all of mine it looks like Chicory, this is a light berry colour which looks nice and natural. Then she had on Lucas Papaw Ointment over the top to keep it looking nourished.

Finally, to finish off the look two MAC glitters were applied. From playing with mine and trying them out it looks like it could have been Reflects Bronze and Reflects Gold. Because if anybody else watched Adele when the light caught her eyes the pigments and glitter really stood out!
