Ardell Lashes Review

As you may know by now I am obsessed with makeup. For me, blowing my wages on makeup is just a normal thing and I don’t mind doing it at all. I go to work so I can buy nice things, so if I want to buy a £40 foundation I will. But there is one thing I cannot bare to spend a lot of money on and that is eyelashes!

When I went to America I went into Sephora and did the obvious thing of buying everything I could grab. I was excited because it was my first time in a Sephora and I was far too excited for my own good. One thing that I picked up was a set of Huda Beauty lashes. And I cannot say that I didn’t love them because I really did and I have to admit that they were the best lashes that I have ever used. Bit I just can’t spend that much on eyelashes.

The reason why is me and my boyfriend live together as some of you know. Well one night I peeled my lashes off, like a military operation, I was so careful so I could reuse them and I put them down on my dressing table. And my boyfriend came upstairs with a cup of tea for me and put the mug straight on top of them, which straightened them out. I did everything I could but they were far beyond saving.

Since I just couldn’t bring myself to buy any more so I use Ardell lashes which are bloody brilliant. I love the standard Demi Wispies and Wispies but for when I want something more I just make my own which is so simple to do.

I get a normal pair of Ardell Wispies then with Ardell Individual lashes I painstakingly glue them onto them. This way I can create any look I want and I can also mimic the higher end brands such as Huda Beauty Lashes and Lilly Lashes.

The last pair that I did with lasted well over a year and when they did get ruined eventually just through everyday wear and tear it was only a couple pounds to replace them!

The Demi Wispies on their own are brilliant I find for everyday use though, just for a little extra something around the eyes but nothing too much.

I use Ardell Wispies all the time on brides. They sit comfortable on the eyes and last all day when used alongside a decent glue like Duo. They look absolutely gorgeous without looking too much.

I recommend everyone trying Ardell lashes, for me they match up well to higher end ones. And you can pick them up off Amazon for a couple quid!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and will happily get back to you!
